Well, although I am sure Mother Theresa was a fine person and did plenty of good, there is no tradition of randomly doing lights for birthday's of random dead people, no matter how famous or infamous. I can see the Empire State building from my office- they usually do lights related to certain national holidays or significant events usually related to the US or to NYC. Frankly, NY magazine was being a bit of an ass about this, trying to make something out of nothing. :P

I lost Jack's loyalty in that confrontation and did not have enough of either Paragon or Renegade points to get teh extra options, so I told Jack to settle down and sided with Miranda. Jack was po'd, and once I got a nudge past 75% Paragon laster in the game, I was able to open up a dialog option that said "Don't tell me you fell for that" and Jack was still annoyed, but her loyalty returned. The only annoyance is that thereafter, no matter what or when you talk to her (even after the big final mission) all she does is yell **** off" - which I have to assume is a glitch, because its' really annoying and stupid otherwise. When Legion and Tali went at it, I was high enough in Paragon options at least to have an option to tell them they were both right and they both were fine and even talked to each other.

You could make your profile non-searchable. There's an option that only friends can see it or something, isn't there? Some people just use the site to connectwith a small group - I would find it a pain to be getting random friend requests. But I would suggest just ignoring the requests you don't want to deal with.

That sucks that your sister wrecked your car, sorry to hear it. How come your parents don't have anything to say about her just taking someone else's property? And I assume she is going to pay for repairs or pay for whatever it cost you.

But also... maybe you should keep your keys on your person in the future.

I voted for Dragon Age, because I love me my magic, dragons, swords and sorcery, but... I've put aside my pennies and will get 'em both. Borderlands artwork looks very visually cool, so I am looking forward to giving that a run through.

Having just finished Risen... it has it's flaws, but it looks good, did not crash on me, although I had to restart it a few times because I occasionally glitched into scenery and there was no way to toggle collision off or anything to rescue it. Fortunately I saved regularly, since I was getting regularly beat up by various critters. But it was an enjoyable game - I wish I had waited until the price dropped tho. NWN2, on the other hand, kind of bored me really quickly. I played maybe 4 hours in, and it simply did not catch my interest strongly. I got that pretty cheaply though, and it is a pretty game. I heard the expansion (Mask of the Betrayer, I think) was really excellent. So, my lukewarm endorsement goes to Risen, but honestly, I would wait until the price drops. (I will have to retry NWN2 again tho - sometimes I put games away for a month or even a year and then try them again and end up enjoying them.)

I tend to take the more cynical view that they're simply trying to generate some additional revenue without actually needing to put in a significant developmental effort. But then again, fans of the re-released games would probably differ from my view :P.G013M
Not to be a wiseguy or anything, but why would that be in any way bad? Yes, it's great if companies can develop new and fresh games, but it's pure smart business to upgrade an older popular game to appeal to people on Vista. They get to play, the company might eke out a few extra bucks. I look at it as win-win, basically. :)
