I consider B Market games to be there still; stuff like Amnesia that have a high amount of visual fidelity. The reason why these "clasically" referred to B market games aren't doing well is because the consumer is more informed before they make a purchase. A crap game isn't going to get bought, so blame the devs, not the market.
The kinect doesn't have any proven best selling titles to justify why microsoft is jamming it down our throat. I mean they're basically saying this new hardware will "maybe" bring new exciting experiences then again it "maybe won't".
They've allowed it so the Xbox One can work without Kinnect but I think if they didn't package it with each Xbox One they would have a massive surplus of kinnect that isn't being bought ergo overall loss in revenue.
I think Microsoft network infrastructure will be far more stable than Sony's. Compounded by the previous down time of the PSN the hacking and all that. It'll definitely be a more stream lined experience, not to mention Microsoft have been refining operating systems for decades and have the experience behind that. GaiKai I've never really heard of as a server host. Sony has got a lot of orders in, but it's not a big stretch of the imagination that the PSN may become crippled for the first few weeks and create a diablo III fiasco.
However in terms of software - Sony have a lot of exclusives and story driven games, especially in regards to the Japanese markets.
