No. works perfectly fine and on weekends its running around 12 hours straight

Yeah from what I heard the main chips have little fans on them like pc video cards do and they don't overheat like people think cause there's no huge fan in the back.
It looks cool, if I had a choice and it didn't cost me anything I wouldn't mind having the slimeline.
