guess they compare them to "prove" that a game is superior to another, as you say you can't compare two games even if they are the same genre, because the effort of a developer to create his own games is what matters to me, also bashing games is stupid come on, by bashing a game it gets better? obviously no, an example of this I liked Assassin's Creed althought they same it's too repetitive, so under the standard they use of repetitive, isn't a FPS the same over and over again, you kill the guy, you get the gun, you chase the bad guy, or roll playing isn't the same.
to get into the theme again guys put games to compete doesn't make any game better, it just makes angry people who actually likes some games
