@GreySeven: You clicked.
@System4Ever: Good thing that they didn't explicitly state that they modeled the figure after that game or anything...
That would be especially embarrassing if it were in the first paragraph.
@Henninger: Exactly, if you don't like exploring, and often coming up empty handed, you might run out of passion for this game. But, that occasional find really feels like a find and it adds worth to the discovery. Much like Dark Souls emphasizes rare gear in that way.
Zarkhaine really nailed this in a way that I didn't know how to explain it.
It really is about the ups and downs. Occasionally, I'll be in an area that's completely over my head, struggling to survive as I like to push it and do missions just over my level, and because of this I'll level up faster and gain more loot. After it's over, I'll have better guns and stats and warp the enemies for a while, until I decide I'm ready for another challenge.
Every piece changes how the game plays, once you find a powerful weapon of a different type you might switch from a shotgun to an assault riffle to a long range, etc. Due to your changing and evolving abilities, your techniques will change too.
But, there are certainly some slow times that you'll grind through to push your level to be able to confidently work that mission.
To be honest, everyone compares this to Destiny, but to me it feels much more like Borderlands.
I'm enjoying it. It's very grindy, but that's what keep you coming back really. It's all about that loot!
@dribblesbarbax: If it gets me Forza, Gears of War and Halon on PC, I don't care. I'll take it. It's better than not having them at all, and certainly better than buying an XB1.
@Dawg9000: You realize that they haven't shown any pc gameplay right?
@Cabronado: To be fair, you can probably still get the graphics (or very similar) that they showed you on PC. It's not Ubisoft that is pulling the rug out form under you. It's the console companies and their hardware. They're great fun (loving my PS4), but it's up to them to provide you with a great visual experience. Games change as they evolve over time, and users should expect that by now. Sure, they probably showed the game too early, but publishers really want to push games as soon as possible these days.
@berserker66666: Why, sir, you do suppose they downgraded the graphics then? Because they're an evil corporation who hates nice graphics? No. They would have loved to produce a game of the quality they showed. They're optimizing the game to run on consoles that are not nearly as powerful as initially anticipated. Keep in mind, the production of these games started before they had specs. They optimized the game to run on the hardware. The result is the downgrade in visuals you are seeing. It's the same situation with Watch Dogs.
I've used AMD and NVIDIA forever, and honestly, they both run just fine.
I'm on AMD right now, because honestly, they do have an edge on the mid and low end cards. They run every game that I've thrown at it, no issues.
