@thedarkoil: Thank you for gracing us with your presence. :)
@CheapMerc: I usually play on the PS4, but I do own a PC yes. I've also owned every console that's been produced (except the N64 and a few minor releases). Let's not try to put a stereotype into play here. Many console gamers want better too.
@Ripper_TV: Considering it was 30 percent of previous lifetime sales of the series combined, it's pretty monumental.
@bobafetthatesu: I think it's more the fact that they don't want to not have the best console on the market anymore. I don't think it's choice, I think it's jealousy. At least that theory, in my mind, makes sense.
3 to 4 years is plenty long enough for a console gen, especially considering how weak these were to begin with.
I think this is a wonderful idea. If people want to pay more money for a better experience, why not facilitate that? I know I'm in the minority, but if I can play my games better, I'll pay to do that.
I'm about the games, and better hardware makes better games (frame rate and clarity have a big impact on how a game feels).
@alaannn: Now that they're on PC architecture, that's possible from here on forth.
I wouldn't hold your breath for older consoles to be backwards compatible though. That's still a software issue.
@excelsiorauctor: I want to spend 500 bucks on a new console...right here right now.
If I can have a better experience, I want it. 900p at 30fps is simply not acceptable in 2016. If I can spend a bit, sell my old used PS4 and enjoy my games at a better frame rate, I'm all in.
Better visuals make for a better game, I don't care what anyone says. Replaying the Uncharted collection at 1080/60 was way better than the old 720/30 jibberish of yester year.
Oh look. We ripped images from the video and are posting them as click (bait and switch) bait.
@Iemander: Biased how exactly? They didn't see it as an issues so it wasn't posted. Who are they biased towards?
I don't think you're using the word correctly, or you've not made your point clear.
I too would prefer 60 fps (mainly a PC gamer due to this), and it will probably detract from the game for me, but calling it biased for not pointing it out is terribly inaccurate. Dark Souls 3 runs at 30 and I've been having a great time.
@goodgamesguy: Says the guy with a PS logo as his avatar? The bias is real here.
