All of the above + "Saber Rider and the Star Sheriffs"! Anyone remember that show?!
Saber Rider Opening That song f'n rocks!
Almost always, I've found there to be stuttering or framerate drops in real-time cutscenes. This is just an observation, not a criticism or me asking for an improvement. Has anybody else noticed that? I can mention a few games I've seen them in:
Mass Effect
Too Human
Brothers in Arms 3
Ninja Gaiden 2
I'm guessing it has to do with the engine, and graphics processing, and loading all those graphics at the same time. I would rather have these cutscenes though, instead of CGI ones, because in CGI ones I get totally pulled out of the experience and can't invest emotionally in any character. Is there a better reason for framerate drop in a real-time cutscene?
All these sequels coming up, I can play most of them. For story reasons and I can compare to previous iterations in their franchise. But not Fallout 3. Here are the upcoming games:
Fable 2
Gears of War 2
Fallout 3
Far Cry 2
Call of Duty 5
F.E.A.R. 2
Ok, out of these games, I can play and compare every game except for Fallout 3.
That's because I've already played and finished the previous games, or that I'm aware that the stories have completely changed (Fable 2 is 500 yrs later, Call of Duty 5 is just in the Pacific Theatre now, Far Cry 2 is in Africa and I've played Far Cry). But I can't play Fallout 3. I have Fallout 2, played a few hours of it and can't bring myself to play more. I'm sure most of you people can play Fallout 3, because you liked Oblivion or something. Or have played previous Fallout games to their fullest. But for me, even though I know the story to Fallout 3 might be just a reimagining or something, I'm not sure whether it's a true sequel to the stories and Vault Dweller stuff. Also, I haven't played the previous Fallout games properly, so if I was going to review the game, I wouldn't know whether gameplay mechanics were dropped out, how the RPG system is, missions, originalness, and whatever. If the story IS new, and totally unique, and not related to the past games' stories, why is called out Fallout 3???
Why not call it Fallout? Like the new Bionic Commando game?

Any of you people worried?
Arent you being a tad bit anal-retentive here? First off exclusive pretty much means ONLY, so there was no need to spazz out on the title. Secondly, there are soo many games that started out as xbox exclusives that were ported which happen to be amazing games. I dont get why you are being uptight about this certain portion of games. I hope too human gets ported because I refuse to have such a game be praised as an xbox exclusive. It failed really bad.

I'm really sorry, I should have noticed that. I changed the title, now it makes more sense. Hopefully lol
[QUOTE="digi_matrix"]Taken from the various previews :any differences would probably be technical

"The change of engines modifies the entire feel of the game, giving it a more slow and plodding feel that its predecessor. You aim with the Wii remote, shoot with the trigger, and can either hit a button to initiate melee attacks or charge up your melee weapon by shaking the remote in order to unleash powerful special for more powerful strikes. The gun because much more important in the Wii version, as special melee maneuvers require that you stun your opponent with gunshots first. Even the lovable servo heads require a gunshot first, ruining the fun of running about willy-nilly tossing plastic heads all over the place."
"Capcom had to sacrifice weapons. Any weapon that had a similar function as another has been condensed into one. This helps performance of course, but in exchange you lose the feeling of immersion you used to receive from being able to pick up nearly anything and use it as a weapon."
"The story structure is a bit different from the 360 version, however: Instead of having your janitor friend Otis continually tell you about things to investigate via your transceiver, the game will proceed in a more traditional, less time-sensitive fashion"
"Frank won't be able to take photographs of things in the Wii version because that system doesn't work very well with this new camera"
So, basically they removed everything good about the game  No camera, no timed 72 hours, and now it's like Resident Evil 4. Greaaat... Doesn't sound like a different game though, sounds like a gimped one.
Oh, forgot that Double Agent is on PS3, PC. Damn! :P
True but it might provide a totally different gameplay experience and have other minor or perhaps major differences, plus it's not out yet.ZimpanX
Still the same game overall, any differences would probably be technical (less zombies on screen).
Oh, I forgot!
SPLINTER CELL: Double Agent!!! The 360 version is completely different from Xbox version (have both), so that doesn't qualify as a port at all. The only similarity is name of general missions, characters, and places. But completely different level design. Both are worth owning, definitely.
Beautiful Katamari, GTA IV, Geometry Wars 2, Castle Crashers, myriad of Live Arcade titles...Lord_Alan
GTA IV is on PS3, also.
Halo 3
GRAW ( completely different from the other versions )
Dead or Alive 4
Ninja Gaiden II
Project Gotham Racing 4
Forza Motorsport 2
Dead Rising
Lost Odyssey
Blue Dragon
Tales of Vesperia
Viva Pinata: Trouble in Paradise
Kameo: Elements of Power
Ace Combat 6: Fires of Liberation
etc.ZimpanX
Oh yes, now that's a great list :D But what's the "etc."? I want to know more...
