If you absolutely can't get the screw out, you can get a special screwdriver that will remove stripped screws. It will get the screw out, but you may need to get a new screw, on account of it being stripped so it'll be slightly harder to be put back in.
Plusses of the two: Original: You can pretty much throw it onto cement as hard as you like, it won't break Lite: Brighter screen, longer battery power, smaller, is a little bit faster than the original so I've never had any frame rate problems with this one, better placement of the power button and charging/asleep lights. Minuses of the two: Original: Shorter battery power, after the while the touch screen becomes extremely inaccurate (until you have to throw it away), bigger. Lite: Easier to break, more expensive.
