This game runs really well at medium with MSAA off. It also has the old preferred look for games, nice and clean and not over-processed. It will do very very well, I think.
I really like this game. Replaying the Steam version right now. I'm trying to play through Uncharted 4 right now, and I feel especially tired every time the shooting starts.
@soliaired50: Yeah man, it is $760 after tax canadian dollars for Splatoon, the console, and 2 controllers. That is just too much for a $50 APU console. I love the games though, so I'm waiting for a used console with games, or hope Nintendo won't abandon the high performance market now that they have a relationship with nVidia and ARM.
Just to compare I paid only $450 or so for the Wii U and 2 controllers and a game. That's a huge price hike. And the games on the Wii U were lackluster for the first 2 years.
Imagine they release a GTX 1060 type home console with compatible ARM CPU's? Hopefully by Christmas 2018. I hope they don't rest on their laurels and get back into the high end market too though.
@Xristophoros: Don't rely on youtube. This can allow smaller teams to rely on great art instead of pushing 3d graphics. I think this can look much better than a bunch of I Am Setsuna type games.
Do this all over again with AA off for all games. Dumbest article on the site.
Seriously Gamespot any game can tax hardware if AA options are sophisticated enough (8xMSAA can drop framerates to a 1/4 in some games). And forget SSAA.
