as a first time sony console owner, I am really really excited to see what happens at E3. Went with a 360 last gen and I am pretty confident I made a good decision by going ps4 this gen.

I wasn't a fan of the combat in the previous two games, but this combat looks different...and better.

Quite excited for it, I am a huge Mass Effect fan.

I dont think its worth the money UNLESS you are a real hardcore gamer. I had a PC last gen and the amount of optimization and modding I had to do to multiplat games to make them even take advantage of my 6850 was a lot.

Steam sales, while they look good on the surface, are actually a money drain as well. You see all these cool games for so cheap and you go on a spree and a lot of them never end up being played. From a stat I saw a few weeks ago, about 37% of all steam purchased games have never even been played once.

Therefore if you are a hardcore gamer that will utilize the steam sales to their fullest and play all the games you buy, and love to spend time tweaking your game to your liking, then PC gaming is for you. For me it ruins the experience when I have to do work to optimize games and make them utilize my hardware to the fullest.

Yeah. PC gaming is for the good guys.

Not sure what qualifies as 'good' here. Care to explain, my friend?

PC gaming is a waste of time and money. I switched to PC last gen. It was the biggest mistake of my life.

Games constantly not being optimized for PC (console ports), had to go out of my way to mod the games to make use of my PC's power, lots of tweaking to make game run optimally. It just isn't worth it. I was pretty content with the graphics y 6850 put out when maxed and the PS4 looks to be much better in that department so Im just sticking with consoles.

PC gaming is for the real hardcore gamers that are addicted to gaming.

EDIT: scratched out that last bit because it comes of as a negative statement. Its not meant as one.

So I just started playing Deus Ex on the Wii U and good Lord do the controls blow a hard one. The deadzone on the right stick is so horrible. I played this game on the PC using a 360 controller and the aiming was smooth. Just wondering if anyone else noticed this. Is there an adjustment period? I really want to play it cos of the gamepad features, but the controls so far just suck.

Xbox One, and maybe a PS4 if the slim version that is coming is cheap.

or wait until Sony gives away PS4 inventory for free, when Sony goes out of business.

dont think you are going to see anything slimmer than then current PS4 in the next 3 -4 years.

Isn't the Ps4 slim enough as is? I mean esp when considering the Xbox chasis is like a miniitx build.

physical for games that I really really think look awesome like Mass Effect, Batman, Darksiders, 3D mario, Zelda. Digital for games that look good, but aren't mind blowing.
