If theirs any actual validity to this petition, as in it being done by "real" Xbox One fanboy petitioners, then I'm wondering what Microsoft is thinking behind the seens. I was already concerned about MS gradually re-reverting to its original policies sometime in the future after the Xbox Ones release, and this only concerns me all the more.
If this real (or semi-real) petition continues to gain ground, I expect Microsoft to come out with an announcment to re-assure those interested in their Xbox One console, especially with the seemingly majority of the fanbase against their original policies
Damage Control is what I smell here. It becomes a trust issue now. I mean Microsoft suddenly cares what we think ? What happens in a couple of years into the Xbox Ones life cycle ? Is Microsoft going to gradually shove these restrictions back down our throats in the future as to recoup what their arrogance is obviously going to cost them now ?
@Gorgotheman Exactly Gorgotheman, What happens when I want to play the Xbox One disc based games I paid money for 10 or 20 years in the future ? It appears they all would become obsolete. I've been a collector all my life and still play all of my old consoles. This in and of itself makes the Xbox One a risky investment.
I'm a big fan of Xbox -However, if Microsofts policies continue down this road to absurdity, then my console of choice will be the one thats policies stuck with tradition.
I've never played the first Sniper Elite, but this game is better than a 6.0 in my opinion. Its obviously flawed in many ways, yet its pleny fun ...especially for under $20.00 nowadays.
