@MinerAvatar @darrenfps I'm sadly 49 therefore wasn't to young. I do agree that the reasons you stated as to why the Dreamcast failed are valid. I just didn't feel like going into even more details. Nevertheless, I'm correct as well and I know we both could find proof as to what we've stated regarding the Dreamcast failures to solidify itself as a console to be reckoned with

@Blazen702 I'm not quite sure who you responding to here because for some reason it's not showing up on my PC. Nobody here seems to be living under a rock with regards to 24 hr check-in. Were talking about "Reimplementation" in the future by MS

@danabo I too am concerned about the whole 24 hr check-in. However, If it were to happen, Sony would most likely be on board as well. I just can't see MS pulling a stunt like this or the whole trade in thing unless Sony ends up doing the same thing. Nevertheless, I could be wrong. This is why as much as I want an Xbox One, I'm still leaning towards the PS4

I'm not a fan of all the prior MS controversy, however, why all the excessive hate ? Personally, I'm a huge fan of both consoles, and I'm also undecided as to which one I'm buying. I have both on pre-order but only plan on purchasing one, at least for the foreseeable future.

I don't know what folks expect here. I mean MS must promote their hardware as much as possible, especially due to their prior arrogance and mistakes. Besides, Sony is doing the same thing !! Bottom line, anyone who's been around this industry for multiple years -or since the days of Atari as I, should easily realize that a company like Microsoft isn't simply going to fold up like the Sega Dreamcast did. The Dreamcast was most certainly a fantastic piece of hardware for it's time, however, due to bad timing, lack of promoting/advertising, Sega failed while Sony's PS2 prevailed. This isn't going to happen with the Xbox One because Microsoft has the means, not to mention that their hardware will most likely surprise us all in the end.

All I'm saying is that MS must post articles like the one above. It's good business. I'm leaning towards the PS4, but I'm holding out and reading as much as I can from both Sony, Microsoft, developers, and gaming insiders. Problem here is that MS pissed off so many gamers that many seem to be basing their decision to purchase a PS4 based on all the hate post that they're reading. My advice, think for yourself and know that both the Xbox One and the PS4 will indeed hold near equal footing when all is said and done.

@bluefox755 @ArabrockermanX I wouldn't say their that far off -if both Sony & MS specs are truly accurate. If consoles continue to thrive, they will eventually match the PC.
