Weird, either I was posting in the wrong thread or my post disappeared somehow.
Anyways, I managed to sell my 280x on ebay for ~$400 after ebay fees and shipping. I added $60 to the $400 and bought a GTX 780.
@HavocV3: LOL yea. Now is the time sell your AMD card.
@PredatorRules: I'm attempting to sell mine for 460 right now, let's see how it goes :)
@PredatorRules: A LOT of people are buying them, but not for gaming purposes. Like I said, people are using them to mine Litecoins.
R9 280x's are selling for upwards of $450 on ebay! I'm actually considering selling my 3 days old 280x to buy a GTX 780.
Newegg has raised the price for your average 280x from $300 to $390, and at the moment all of them are out of stock. This coin rush is really fucking things up for gamers. I'm just glad I got mine for $300 w/BF4 before this craziness started.
LOL Fry's servers crashed and the combo was gone in a matter of seconds. Looks like 4670K it is.
Hello guys, appreciate the replies.
Fry's is selling i5 3570K and MSI Z77A-G41 combo for $188 after rebate on Thanksgiving , whaddya think?
I'm very tempted to go with this offer, especially that it will cost less than a single 4670K.

I did a little search on newegg and amazon and you actually save 100$. go for it.
I think I will. I've read this motherboard isn't all that great for OC'ing, but I probably won't even go past 4.2GHz anyways. I'll just buy this bundle and a decent aftermarket CPU fan and call it a day.

Hello everyone!
I'm currently in the process of building a PC, and I have a bit of dilemma here. I can't decide between the 4670K and its K-less sister. I'm on a budget and would rather put the money into a better GPU.
So I guess my question is, does overclocking result in a significant difference in terms of gaming performance? Keep mind that I will probably be using a decent GPU, most likely the R9 280x.
And I'm sorry if this is the wrong forum. Gamespot has really f*cked up with the new design.
