Actually, the 4870 X2 Cards are better than the GTX 280's, it's not ALWAYS about pure power, the 4870 X2's are simply better, because they have "Cinema 2.0" technology, but no one cares, not too sure why, but all I can say about the GTX 280 is that when 100% Photo realistic games start appearing on the market (Which they will, thanks to Cinema 2.0 Technology), DO NOT expect the GTX 280 card to be able to give Photo Realistic graphics. People don't really know about this little fact about the new Radeon card, actually, Radeon's site, doesn't even mention it, lol which is kind of weird, if I were the marketing person for ATI, That's all I would talk about in regards to the new card, the marketing staff should be fired, lol, there's a time for Power, and a time for Features, the GTX 280 may have Power, but it lacks Features. With the ATI Radeon HD 4870 X2, your getting the "Best of Both Worlds" Stick with Radeon (at this point in time) I was not even a Radeon fan until now, I was Pro-Nvidia, and Anti-Radeon, lol, but the latest card, has made me change my mind.
