Idk why all caps bothers people, but if you write a few posts in it I'm sure you'll catch hell the whole time. O, about the topic, I read somewhere 24, but since I can't remember where I wouldnt be surprised if I am wrong.

When SOCOM Confrontation come out I will be in my living room for 48 straight hours kicking some ass. I still regularly play the other ones, even though the graphics look more like pong than COD4. This game is going to keep me from buying any other for a while as it probably wont come out of my PS3 til xmas.

Dude that sucks, but it never happens to me because i don't live with mommy and my gf knows better than distract me during my gaming :). But seriously, she never really bugs me but what does is my damn phone ringing, so i get up and answer it only to find out it's a wrong number. By the time I get back to my game I'm 3 deaths higher than when I left. From now on when someone calls me with the wrong number I am going to keep track of the number of deaths I incur. Then, at 3 A.M. I am going to call that person until they answer it. The number of times they get me killed will be equal to the number of days they get the early morning wake up.

You're almost entirely wrong...The 60gig has the ps2 hardware in it, allowing it to be bc...the 20gig is the same way. The 40 and 80 gig's use software emulation and are BC with almost all PS2 and PS1 games released in north america.

NONE! Because friggin blockbuster has like 20 of em and they're always rented

Bastards

nosferatu

Netflix?

No Country 4 Old Men (what's up with this movie? - not your typical ending, but I was actually bored most of the time)

YourDaddy88

It's a thinking movie. It leaves a lot of the understanding, etc up to you. The people who find it terrible/boring typically like their movies and stories handed to them in an easily digestable way. I don't necessarily agree with it being the best movie of the year, but there's definitely a lot more substance to it than a lot of people are willing to try for. Consider how the title might reflect upon the entire movie, particularly the ending. If you didn't like the ending (like some people in this thread) you were paying attention to the wrong parts of the movie and not taking the movie for what it was actually doing/saying....you were just absorbing it. Ponder why the violence is so viscerally violent, yet is often unremarkable and muted (intentionally so). I'll leave those as starting off points for ya ;)

Personally, I'm trying to make my way through the 20 or so discs I own that I still haven't watched and I still have a good 7 more on the way... YIKES! As of now, I have a little over 100 movies in HD-DVD and BD at about a 60:40 split since I was late with the PS3.

You know what I call a thinking movie? A book. If I felt like thinking, I'd read.

I have this weekend off from school and work and am looking for a good game to rent. I have shooters, so that's not what I am looking for. So far, I have narrowed the list down to God of War 2, which I've never played, Folklore, and Oblivion. Im not sure how long these games are, though I have heard Oblivion is quite long, and I don't really need to beat the game this weekend since I don't have to return the game until I want another one or a movie. Which would you guys recommend of the 3, or is there a better game that can get me through the weekend that I haven't mentioned? Thanks in advance for any replies.

I never plaid FIFA or Lair, but i really enjoyed all of the other ones. I still play UT3, I beat AC but haven't played it since, and Heavenly Sword was a good rent IMO.
