@skyhighgam3r: All the dlc items are overpriced in-game, coupled with extremly grindy in-game economy, equals the truth that the items and dlc is made mainly to push shark cards.

His statement stands...

A vehicle based star wars game in VR with Battlefronts graphics and sound, but deeper gameplay and an actual story. That would be something.

- Piloting a Snowspeeder on Hoth in VR

- Pod-racing in VR? ...maybe...

- Space battles in VR, zooming between star destroyers in an A-wing at the battle of the second Deathstar.

Ah, the possibilities. Just too bad EA got the license...

@skyhighgam3r: If you don't see it, watch Angry Joe's reaction to the trailer. I hate just referring to others, but he sums it up really well...

This movie is going to be an insult to good humour as well as the original movie. It seems they actually worked hard to remove everything intelligent from the first film and replace it with juvenile and assinine slapstick. It looks like a film that would only amuse a three-year-old or a simpleton fratboy.

No review copies for game journalists (I heard) and always-online DRM...

I'll sit pretty with my money intact and see if this chrashes on arrival...

Patience is a virtue after all.

@ECH71:

Point c) is a big greif for me too. I had never encountered single player lag before I played the open beta for this. Why not just restrict the actual online functionality if there's no connection, this always-online DRM bullshit needs to die ... violently ... preferably with fire ... or bees.

So... is this US only (as usual) or is it actually available in other regions.

Eddie and other US staffers always forget to mention this... always... every damn time

Does anyone know if the full game wil be always-online as well? First game (even though it was a beta TEST) I've played with single player lag, in that it took a full second from when i fired a shot to when it actually hit (in the missions, not DZ where lag obviously applies)

If the full game is always online, even if you're playing alone, that's a dealbreaker for me.

Make the next ones be Ace Combat 4, 5 and Zero or GTFO, there hasn't been a really good arcade flight game since then, and since it doesn't seem to be any new good ones on the horizon, why not bring back the good old ones.

Should lead to some more interest for Ace Combat 7 too...
