@mr_azim: Geoff specifically stated last night that a lawyer FROM KONAMI told Kojima that he was barred from attending the event. Not sure why GameSpot decided to use such cryptic wording here...
The cost to produce one of these dongles is about $2.35, which is a pretty hefty price (comparatively), but that $20 MSRP is kind of erking me right now.
@Qixote I can see how a lot of people wouldn't like it, but all that "light bloom" you speak of actually increases the photorealism of a game. In real life, things aren't necessarily ultra sharp and colorful (as seen in videgames). That's one reason war games are always "grey/brown/etc). As for open world games such as WD or GTA, the lighting can keep it from looking like a high-end Sims game (ultra bright and colorful).
YES, there are time yo want a game to be bright and have strong colors (ie sports games like Madden or NHL, and some racing games), but otherwise that washed-out look can be helpful to game who want to send that real-world look.
@dwightfryes No, "you're" (Mr Dwight) not underrepresented. While there were several pretty kick ass real-life assassins, the majority of them were still men. So as bad as it may seem, 1 out of seven (game leads being women/ Aviline), it can be argued that Ubi is being fair.
Although they're not, because what they said about "needing more time to create a female hero" is 90% pure BS. 90% because it actually would take more time to create a female hero.
