At least Sunset Overdrive is a decent choice for once (Wolf Among Us too, from what I've played so far). Any game with an achievement called "The Floor Is Lava" won me over from the start. And the respawn animations are an 80s kid's dream come true.

@hotwog21: For real? I always thought it was tied to your account at all times, even if you drop Gold? That's a little bit harsh if it's true.

Civil War: Wasted Opportunity. They could have turned this into a yearlong event, with a new movie every month or two. Make a fortune because people would have to see them all for the whole story (just like the old days of comic books where you had to buy issues of crappy comics just because they were part of the arc). I remember buying a lot of dud comics for Rise Of The Midnight Sons. And: Civil War.

Part of the problem is Disney owns Marvel now, but various studios own the individual "characters." It's a miracle Spider-Man is even in this movie. But it does suck not having other characters that were essential to Civil War. Like The Fantastic Four (should have had that bomb reboot tie into this instead of be a re-tread), same with Doctor Strange, and various X-Men characters (would have rather seen a X-Men Civil War than seeing them beat to death the whole "younger X-Men" stuff...kinda getting tired of Mystique and young Xavier & Magneto).

Although, I guess if they did it that way, it would hard to pace the movies. They'd end up being more like the acts of Pulp Fiction than a linear story. Still, Marvel could have done Civil War a whole lot better than a one-shot Cliff Notes version.

@Sozialminister: Well, Hitler's book just became public domain, so Zelda has a bit of a wait.

@Hagan: Yeah, but a lot of people said they wouldn't watch Game Of Thrones after a major character died. Then got higher ratings every successive season to prove otherwise. Even the most pissed-off fans kept watching. Subconsciously became bigger fans BECAUSE no character is 100% safe. Which causes you to not have a real "favorite" and become invested in ALL the characters (minus the few annoying ones you secretly hope get killed off). The Daryl fans would still watch if it's him that dies.

*** SEASON 6 EPISODE SPOILER AHEAD ***

It's most likely Daryl or Glenn. I'm leaning towards Glenn just because the show teased him dying, fans breathed a sigh of relief that it didn't happen, now they're going to follow through. It being Daryl though would have the biggest impact, which is what Negan would be going for. Plus I think it secretly irks Kirkman that everybody's favorite character was one that wasn't in his comics. He's expressed that he doesn't like the Daryl fangirls and would love to kill the character off just to troll them. And already multiple times implied Daryl might secretly be gay, as if that was a lame Plan B to troll the Daryl fans.

I haven't watched any of this season yet, saved them all up. But I like the show enough where I'd still watch. My favorite character has been dead a while now, the only one that made me a bit ill to see it happen even AFTER having it spoiled for me, and I'm still watching. Personally though, I'm more excited for what might happen in Fear The Walking Dead. I'm kinda tired of TWD just recycling the "find a new safe place, get screwed over by new antagonists, fight them but suffer losses, rinse & repeat" formula. FTWD is more interesting to me now, because it's cool to see all the crap that happened BEFORE Rick woke up from his coma.

Fear The Walking Dead moves a bit too fast for me. But based on that, my dream scenario would be a few more seasons of FTWD to make you care more about the characters and grow their group, then have some amazing TWD final season where Rick's group runs into them (who have already made it East long ago, while Rick's people were still chilling on Hershel's farm) and have the FTWD cast be the last group of antagonists for Rick's group. Then TWD has it's series finale, and the actors who wish to remain on the AMC payroll become cast members on FTWD....which continues on. It's plausible because a LOT of time has passed on TWD, enough where they could theoretically roll both shows into one yearlong saga, so that FTWD complements TWD's finale season (whenever they choose to do it). That would be awesome beyond measure.

Now I'm bummed to hear that it could have been Kurt Russell instead of Keifer Sutherland. But if anybody is realizing just now that Kojima was a game industry diva whose own ego was his downfall, you're late to the party. He's a brilliant designer, but always kinda lived in his own fantasy land that leads to no surprise that he was difficult to work with. I heard the same about Ken Levine a while back, which shocked me (heh...BIOshocked me...heh), because Ken seemed like a really down-to-earth guy...the anti-Kojima.

It's amazing that one guy made this game all by himself. The programming, the graphics, the music and sound effects. I hope he gets rich as hell from this. Which is all but guaranteed considering how many copies were sold in the first week and talks of consoles ports already.

You know it's a great game when all the people big on Twitch are setting aside their bread & butter games like League and Counterstrike to play this instead.

I would rather they let you get a full refund within 24 hours of purchase. If digital distribution is starting to be the norm, you have to allow for returns. Otherwise that's just anti-consumer if you are moving more and more towards everything being downloaded instead of bought in a store, with absolutely no refunds.
