Wow that's impressive, recently I've been buying and selling legacy games and consoles. I love the idea of building my own collection whilst helping others develop their's. :)

This particular game i am looking for is like snake on nokia. But this game is much better. You play against human or cpu. You pick powerups like homing rockets. This game is exactly like WITS(another NES game) but, its much better looking and funny. The funny part is when someone is about to loose, the eye of the snake is popping alternately. I hope someone know this game, i ve been searching years for this.nujjun

This it? http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Gyv3gIqb7I4

I'm constantly finding it on lists of annoying or hated songs, what do you think?

Reminds me of Guillermo Del Toro's films, namely Pan's Labyrinth. Also Alice in Wonderland seems an influence, but it was an influence of the film as well. Kind of a beautiful creepiness about it, the artwork is certainly unique, and is definitely worth a look.

[QUOTE="Ace6301"][QUOTE="Socijalisticka"] Then what relevance does the speech have if his statement is out of context? Socijalisticka
In 1940 those were some pretty radical ideas, especially when in the movie Chaplin is talking to the entire German army. While the speech is still good these days to say it was cliche without considering the time it was made and the situation the world was in is flat out wrong. That first bit about treating everyone equally back then was pretty heavy stuff, most countries didn't have equal rights for blacks and were prejudiced against jews. The context adds quite a huge amount to the scene.

Nothing of what he said was unique (nor should his condemning of greed be taken seriously even then). Seeing you are speaking of the modern west (the last few centuries), the fight against ethnic inequalities have always existed since its implementation by law. Racism doesn't end with the preaching of equality.

Should the speech not also be appreciated on a personal level? Even if it doesn't break barriers, change the world or even introduce any new ideas, it still inspires and moves people possibly even makes them better people, and that alone is enough in my opinion.

First off, my limit is watching two vids per thread. You've clearly broken that rule. Second you didn't link them. Thus my interest in this thread has instantly gone to zero. mrmusicman247

GS doesn't seem to like people linking youtube videos.

[QUOTE="craigofadown"]

[QUOTE="dkdk999"] really ? Inspired ? Maybe I'm just missing something. But was it not just a video of someone saying. "greed has taken over" and other cliched stuff ? That's good don't get me wrong. But I didn't think it was particularly insightful. THE_DRUGGIE

I don't think it was very cliched 71 years ago, it inspires people to change and to take notice of what the world has become. It is also an example of how dictators can lead nations falsely with speeches like this in the way hitler did; it acts as a warning in more than one way it would seem.

Not to mention the delivery was absolutely superb. Every single word that he spoke was done so with a mixture of sterness and passion that makes the whole message have serious weight. It's not like he was just casually reading, he was so lucid in his mission to engage his audience that it felt raw to the point of being surreal.

He really does care, it's just perfect in every sense, it's more than acting, it's more than a character; it's true meaning and feeling put across in a way that couldn't be more powerful.
