Why does this game look and feel so much like Dishonored? You know what, after reading this review, I think I'll skip Thief and go finished Dishonored. I really don't feel like spending my time on a game that simply doesn't sound like it's any fun to play.
This reviewer should no longer review games! Instead he should be allowed to write long from, investigative articles about the industry. That appears to be he true calling as he has shown that is his best work. That and appear on podcasts as his witty, nerdy self.
*sorry, just couldn't say anything Feedbackula worthy. I like Tom too much.*
Capcom, Final Fantasy 13 is NOT a game you should copy your level design from! Between this, Resident Evil 6 and the rumors of Lost Planet 3 being a stinker I have to ask, what is wrong with you? Why are you churning out all these sub-par games?
This is a pretty sweet machine. I think the only changes I would have made would be to (a) update the screen to 1080P and (b) use a higher capacity SSHD instead of a pure SSD. Similar performance with an SSHD and easily twice the storage space.
I honestly can't be mad at Major Nelson. Yeah, I know he's a Microsoft employee but the guy is in an impossible position. He's an official mouthpiece that gets flack from both sides but still tries his darnedest to do the right thing. It's not his fault that Microsoft can't get their message straight, nor is it his fault that many of the decisions surrounding the next generation are bananas. He is the messenger and we keep trying to shoot him.
I for one appreciate the fact that he at least is saying that Microsoft isn't deaf to the user base's ire. It may not actually get results but I appreciate the effort none the less.
For those that don't know Daniel S. Loeb is the guy who shook up Yahoo over the last two years. He is know as being an 'activist investor'. In other words he will fight tooth and nail to change a company in order for for his investment firm to make more money. Sometimes (like in the case of Yahoo) it's a good thing.
Here, I'm not totally sure. Sony is a completely different beast. But there could be financial benefits to Sony as a whole. From what I understand the two divisions are basically different companies already so their might not be that much of a change.
