Ok, then, if you HAVE seen the video, you clearly know that Gothic 3 is two generations behind, right ? Answer me that so i can go on about ...
- How shadows fall from each leaf down to the ground, on every grass blade, making some grass areas look lit and some in shadow, but the overall lighting is far better in art than Crysis, making this look even better and clear as a visual effect
- How each leaf sway in the wind, and rock formations cast their own shadow on that grass, that covers the ground more fully than ANYTHING i have seen in Crysis
- How speedtree trees/shadows look like total GARBAGE comparing to real 3D trees, properly lit and shadowedAdrianWerner
to me it looked like Gothic3 with better lighting. Yeah...trees are better in Fable2, on the other hand there's few of them compared to Gothic3. the textures also looked inferior in Fable2, the same with draw-distance. So definitly not even a generation behind.
On the other hand Crysis trees looked better, the same with grass, they moved more realisticaly, the draw-distance in Crysis is about 50 times bigger, the areas are more dense. The lighting also seemed much more advanced in crysis. So far Fable looks like something a 0.2 generation ahead of Gothic3 and at least a generation behind Crysis if not more. In the end after the promised improvements Fable2 should be mid-way between Gothic3 and Crysis. It looks nice, but techicaly it's very primitive compared to crysis. Now you might like Fable2 art more, but that's a simple opinion, your own personal taste, from techical stand point Fable2 is a joke compared to Crysis. The diffrence is so big that I think you're fake boying or trolling, or both. Because nobody serious could claim what you claim
You call those .....0.2 generations above Gothic 3 ??? more like 2 !!!
