It really all comes down to this, since the invention of the Internet civil society has been on the decline. Anonymity gives license to arrogance and hateful speech. If you are a person of conviction, a person who stands behind what they say and means it you do so from infront of the veil. You do not cloud your identity behind an obscuring mist of screen names and blocked IPs you say it proud and with conviction and own your words. Honestly, hate has always been there, bigots and bullys existed when I was a kid and the Internet didn't exist and will exist in the future but it's activity like this that give creedence to the concept of real-ids and the striping of anonymity from the internet (this is not an endorsment but just an explination of how some people can justify those thoughts.)

Another failing of some of the commentors here is their idea of ownership of the property. Simply because you bought the game does not mean Bioware owes you anything. They are making an artistic statement and you either buy it or you don't. If they want to go off in a direction you don't like then you have every right to not buy it. Games are like music, just with a great big ol' symphony orchestra of people involved in making it happen. If the direction is "a sell out" or you think that what they are doing is "bogus" you have your option but don't expect to be entitled to any special treatment. You really hate it, don't buy it and then they will realise their folly and return to what worked.

This is the kind of crap that makes me disgusted to be a part of the hobby. I mean one poster here pretty much tells her to "get back in the kitchen." Disgusting.
