@chev7758 @collingtonuk It depends on how you define a success, you clearly define it by units moved but companies define it by how much money it makes and the sad truth is that the WiiU does not have the momentum to make sufficient money. Developers will support things if they have a good chance of making money on it, on the Wii the attachment rate was very bad so that put off developers. When Nintendo acknowledge that their system has not got enough momentum then that's almost a death-knell, because they will be the last people who should be making those noises.

It's not about wanting Nintendo to screw over the five million, that's a ridiculously immature thing to say, my hope is Nintendo bring their great games to a larger market, to keep making them and survive.

@chev7758 @collingtonuk Because the take-up rate is appalling. Nintendo know this themselves, they can see developers abandoning the system but worst of all is the noises that they themselves are making. I loved Nintendo but to be honest this has been coming since the wii, its attachment rate was so bad developers were clearly wary of the new console which has struggled with any sort of line-up.

Maybe Nintendo can get a new machine out that is comparable to the current 'next gen' ones, after all they are made from off the shelf parts but I doubt they could do so quickly enough, hence my hope that they bring their games to the current 'next gen'

To be honest I think the fat lady is singing for the WiiU. If it is abandoned I hope they bring their games to the next gen consoles. If Sony and M$ have any sense they will throw money at them to make them exclusives.

@Uncle_Rell On the xbone it fails to join a game easily 80% of the time, the server filters don't work. One in two games fail to load when it looks like its going in. Its a mess and in an unacceptable state, if you think that gamers should accept this without complaint then EA will keep on doing it.

@Xristophoros its because Valve have a good reputation, they listen to their fans and respond to those fans feedback. If EA had made all these recent announcements we'd all be justified in expecting the worst. Its not fanboyism, its the reputation they have built.

I have a RT tablet, the OS is actually pretty good but with some really annoying niggles. The main issue is that the app store is bare, until there is a reasonable ecosystem then I can't recommend it to anyone.
