@DevilD2005 @chrisbingle @CHROMEFLAMIN The world isn't as bleak as you think it is. There is a such thing as ethics.

@makryu @chrisbingle True enough, so long as the review is sound.

@CHROMEFLAMIN To say that this actually goes on is an insult to journalism everywhere. While there are attempts by publishers to stifle and restrain certain commentary by not having reviews released until after the game has been, the review and its content are in the hands of the reviewer. Black Ops Declassified is a good example of this.

@LukeWesty Remember back in the day when you had to spend $30-40 on a new SNES game that was probably going to be sh*t? Me too.

@makryu @chrisbingle Once upon a time maybe. But you can tell when a game is being lambasted. Which is quite clearly going on with this one. This type of thing is unfortunately becoming a trend. Actual game reviewers are properly educated, properly cohesive and eloquent writers who are capable of writing neutrally. i'd say their opinion holds more water than any biased scmuck on the internet.

And here's a crazy idea. Have you ever actually read an entire critical review before. Most people just look at the score value and that's it. There's a lot of valuable insight in there. I'd rather read 4-5 fair reviews than idiots cry and scream on Metacritic.

What a bunch of miserable ingrates. I can't believe people are getting so bent out of shape over something as simple as a bloody DMC title. I love DMC, played them all many times, I'm sure I'll enjoy this one. Why is that? Because I like to play games for enjoyment.

I just skimmed through 10 full pages of comments on IGN's review about whether or not the game had day 1 DLC. The commentary segued into vitriolic diatribes about everything you'd expect: how devs and publishers are evil and greedy, how reviewers get paid off. Y'know, the USUAL thing gamers like to talk about. In the end, nobody actually said a word about the game and I still don't know about that DLC...

Gamers have descended to such a pathetic level of pretentious, snobby, and utterly hateful windbagging that it's actually becoming depressing. Take some advice and never trust a user review ever. People are stupid, arrogant, and completely unable to prevent passion and bias from clouding their opinions. Reviewers are like... educated.

@AnakinSW That is true. But I'm still not so sure it'll threaten Microsoft too much. But who knows. Maybe it will. I just wonder if it will be competitive.

@AnakinSW Any sane PC gamer who has put any amount of money into their rig is not going to want one of these. I just would not be able to justify purchasing one of these, and neither will many others. And I don't think Microsoft is terribly worried about anything with most computer gamers using Windows machines and their already very firm firm place in the console market with the 360.

@OneSamTwoCups Firstly. CoD zombies and L4D are vastly different from one another. And more importantly, World at War, where CoD Zombies started, came out only three weeks after the original L4D. It's like saying L4D ripped off Resident Evil because you shoot zombies in both of them.
