Honestly, I think many gamers will continue to buy CoD because it is just one of those game franchises that allows friends to hang out and do something online. New engine? looks like the last. New modes? same as the rest. New game? mostly considered a slightly better DLC. I really wonder how many gamers are going to buy this just because their friends do and they want to be able to do virtual activities.
@dmastor more the decency point of not being forced to buy a gimmick camera when I do not want or need one. It has more to do with what one company thinks I need versus the other which lets me choose
so refreshing to hear a company talk about the difference between price and value. Making high quality games, consoles, and experiences is what makes price worth the dollars
@dashboardman if you think FPS games are dull and are backing the xboxone ... you are a special kind of dumb. That is like most of their exclusives during the past generation (not to mention future gen).
two points. 1- do we really expect them to say anything else? Who is going to say their system is not winning? Honestly ...
2- A game console is about the longevity. You can start strong, but you need to finish. My Xbox 360 has felt like it was an afterthought during this past year and a half. Meanwhile, Sony has made this past year great with good exclusives. While the xbox one initial lineup is great, I think many people have concerns about MS ability to sustain the system and create meaningful exclusives outside of driving and shooting. Both will be great, but buying a console that is yours for the next 8ish years based off what comes out in the first few months is ridiculous.
