@gamemaven:

1. Just because you haven't seen anyone say that about multiplat games doesn't mean that what I'm comparing doesn't align with the thoughts of many in the comments.

2. The Xbone feature is not free unless you stole the game. You have to own an original copy y'know.

3. No it's not backward compatible you have to download the game after you insert the disc.

4. Milking? Yes plenty of milking the Xbone is not backwards compatible and I'm even doubting about their so called emulation, looks more like they're porting said games to me.

5. No to sound homophobic or anything but my facts are straight.

According to the logic of many in the comments if you buy a multiplat game for a certain console they should automatically give you the game for free for every existing version of the game because you already own the game right? So if I buy MGSV for the PS4 they should give me the PS3, Xbox 360, Xbone and PC version free or at least give me a discount because I already own that game for the PS4.

Look you didn't buy a PS4 for PS2 games and Sony never promised such feature. At least they're telling you exactly what they're doing unlike MS which is milking the whole backwards compatibility thing with the Xbone, that's a pure lie and not really backwards compatible, but they are deceiving consumers with misinformation. If you claim the Xbone is backwards compatible the general public will automatically think that they will be able to play every single Xbox 360 game they own, truth is not even the 5% of total games are compatible (not to mention that most of the compatible games are crap).

Lol at this US vs Japan debate. Just take a look at the consoles the XBone is big, ugly and needs a power brick. On the other hand the PS4 is smaller, neat looking and doesn't need a power brick, not to mention that it's also more powerful being smaller you'd think it'd be the other way around. So conclusion Japanese tech/innovation >>>>>>>>>>> US tech/innovation.

This ad is just making fun of themselves, what happens if I place a copy of Skyrim inside the XBone? And you call this 100 joke backward compatible? I guess the Dreamcast was backward compatible with the PSone too then.

@fanboyman It doesn't matter how MS did it as long as it's emulation nothing could stop any 360 game being played. Why do you think Sony was unable to win any case against Bleem?

The whole licensing excuse is BS, if they truly made an emulator they wouldn't need licensing to play an xbox 360 game otherwise non commercial emulators wouldn't exist. The truth is either the console is not powerful enough to emulate certain games or they're not really being emulated and some porting is involved.
