Oblivion. Over-rated. But I haven't enjoyed an RPG since Dragon Warrior. I couldn't stand Oblivion, though. Gameplay was atrocious and the graphics are over-hyped as well.

I used to, but there are worse things to worry about.

Same thing happened to me a couple weeks ago. I bought a new Arcade. Good luck.

Check the brick to make sure EVERYTHING matches up, not just power consumption, including amperage. Will one work with the other? Probably. But do you really want to risk any problems for your 360 because you didn't want to be inconvenienced? I didn't think so. I just bought another 360. Both bricks output 175W, but have different amperes. Also, the plugs (both male and female) are two-prong rather than the grounded three-prong from my near-launch and now-dead 360. Sure, probably more information than you care to have read, but.... aw, nevermind.

Is your router WEP-enabled? If you don't require a password any fool can connect to your router and eat up precious bandwidth.

So, my 360 that I bought in February 2006 finally died last week. After an albeit feeble attempt at repairing it on my own, I decided to buy a new Arcade. I couldn't be happier. I had no idea how quiet these things are. I'm pretty confident I have the new Jasper chipset, since my new Xbox was built in January this year has on-board memory and the power input that I've read about (12v ~12.1 amps, I believe). It kills me to have bought a new one, but I'm surprised it lasted this long, to be perfectly honest with you. This message is nothing more than an homage to my needle-turned-straw. I'll miss you, my friend. That is, until I turn on my new, updated 360 again and you find your way onto the curb with the rest of the trash.

while i see the game as a success i don't need another shooter in my library(which is limited due to store issues)...

it seems right on track to improve upon the original, but does it really stand out that much over other fps-s to be worth it?

leonjuretic

yes, because, well, it's not a first-person shooter. It's third-person.

I'm with everyone else, because I was just thinking of the same thing. Just buy the Arcade. Bear in mind, though, that if you don't already have an HDMI cable, you'll have to buy one. The Arcade doesn't come with one and those things can get pretty expensive.
