Saw this coming over a year ago, built my PC rig, and am happily setting sail on the land of gaming fun that is going to be in serious lack during the new console era. Lol.
WoW is an ex girlfriend. She was great, we had fun, and I loved her. But she changed. She wasn't who I originally dated, and over time, she became unrecognizable. I could no longer be in love with the idea of who she used to be, and with great pain, I had to end our relationship. Sometimes I have fond memories, but there's no going back. That's all WoW is to me now: good memories.
@MoronGotMyName @saadomar90 @ernelson1976 @cephas90 Funny, really, the flaming. I'll actually explain myself, something rarely done on the internet. The truth is, I'm a pc gamer. I'm deciding what console to get for my Father (who is the console gamer). I did play on the original xbox, and the 360, a very large amount of time. I have never purchased a playstation. As for why I'm choosing playstation now it's a mixture of the ps3 library as well as being tired of xbox's fiscal agenda. I'm tired of paying for xbox live, I'm tired in general.
Sorry, but I believe that the previous "leak" was microsoft's way of testing the waters to see what was acceptable. The simple fact that they are considering it (and it took a great deal of backlash to demonstrate the idiocy of the idea) shows me they aren't worthy of my commitment this generation. I will be purchasing a PS4 this season, and I was a loyal xbox fan.
