@2_Quiet_2_Riot Don't say I don't know what I'm talking about man. I'm simply saying it doesn't necessarily have to be an FPS shitfest. Have you played any EPIC FPS games? They have different inspiration than that of 5 year olds with attack dogs.Just because they are thinking about it, and NOT ANNOUNCING THAT THEY ARE MAKING IT; does not necessarily mean it would/could/should be a shitty, watered down FPS appealing to the masses. While I spewed the first negative comment at you, I didn't mean it in a snobby way. That was a narrowminded comment assuming it would automatically suck. As gamers, we should be thinking about how cool a game like this could be; if it ever were to be....not trashing it just because its an FPS that we assume will inspired and created just like those shitty-watered down-way too old- COD games.
@myungish no it's called "lets not invest 350 million dollars into a great looking game that nobody wants to fucking play."as video games become more costly to make and become more mainstream; moving out from garages with three independent thinkers working as a team; the risk associated with making a 'bad; game increases as well.
unfourtanantly we are just figuring this out with current gaming events.

You could have an alternate story set in an alternate timeline with alternate characters with alternate locations and alternate settings with alternate motives..... all while gears 4 sits right next to your xbox infinity. I'm glad that less narrowminded people like you work in the game industry than five years ago. EA is full of bozos like you. Innovation, Imagination, and Invention is the only way of moving forward....
even if they try out a FPS; it doesn't mean it will have kill streaks and shitty perks.
@GlaciusXL You ever played Rainbow Six Vegas 1 or 2? Because, it takes the best of first person AND third person by throwing you in third when you take cover!BTW, I have respect for Ferugsson at least thinking about it. Would a Locust oriented FPS game be cool? What about being the stranded? A survival FP-horror-Shooter set in the Gears universe? Of course they aren't going to do that because we know what Epic truly specializes in and where they truly shine.... but man, it's nice to have open ended developers.
@tightwad34 I highly recommend renting it. It doesn't have much replay value but it us a well executed game. It's a nice change up for you're regular third person shooter. Great action, great environments, and awesome SFX on screen.
@Crossel777 While I agree with what you said about Spec Ops, saying Max Payne's setting was dull and uninspired is ridiculous. While the game may not have been perfectly executed in story and gameplay, the setting was absolutely brilliant! Many different set pieces with thier own distinct atmosphere to them. You can tell how much attention to detail there is in each and every room. There is a 'payne' staking amount of detail in every room you enter. Airport, Police Station, Brazilian Hospital/Hotel.... need I say more.
