@Axile11 He kind of is, to be fair. Subjugating all of humanity to forever living under the threat of the infected was an extremely selfish move. I mean, I don't blame him -- I'd probably do the same if I were in that situation. But saving Ellie doesn't make him a hero. It's one giant grey area, really.

@Xyekenvort The open world is still around, so is the leveling system, far as I know. I assume they just mean cutting back on the grinding and farming that slowed certain sections of the previous games to a crawl.

After the huge unexpected success of Dark Souls, I'm not surprised. They know they've got a hit on their hands. Only makes sense to broaden awareness. They've already been clear that they're keeping the gameplay unchanged, so... pretty harmless news, really.
