@Kornkaos Yeah... and if MS says they are going to put a "Brag" button everyone will say Sony did it first (even though OnLive did it first!) Same thing happened with kinect and wiimotes... Sony had the eye toy way before and everybody said they copied from MS/Nintendo.
Sometimes its better to be First! than to be correct
@paul081278 @jark888 @kickfly222 Using bluRay was also considered madness and over reaching. But it helped set it as the standard, crushing HD DVD and generating a huge profit (i hope). Same for the PS2 and DVD. So Sony might push 4K via their PS console just to motivate sales towards the new 4K hardware (tvs and players and probably new media too).
Good idea? no, not really. Good Investment: possibly
@funny16 @Syxx8psycho @Xvault77 @Space_Paranoids Yup... check Microsofts, Nintendo and Steam... all you have is a license to use them.European courts are demanding the right to sell that license but honestly... why bother, Focus instead on demanding smaller prices for digital only games.
Nobody is hacking their ps3 to have linux back and nobody is doing backups of their games.
Thats all empty excuses to pirate games. You dont want to pay for it, you dont get to play it. Wait a few months and you can get it 2nd hand and or discounted. Rent it on Lovefilm/blockbuster (are there still blockbusters?). Plenty of ways of doing it.Piracy is not a requirement, its a choice.
