I don't think that we've seen a fraction of what the PS3 is capable of. I mean look at UC2. The graphics are amazing. Sony platforms have always needed a little coaxing to get the most out of them. As a result there' s a learning curve that developers have to overcome. My using things like deferred lighting, deferred shading, and other post processing elements we should see some very amazing things in the near future. To answer the question of whether or not we'll see crysis level graphics on the PS3, in a word yes.

Dude, you're never too old to game. I'm 39 and just graduated to PS2 Slim.I gave my 360 to my 7 yr old son and he gave his Wii to his 3 yr old brother. We are a family of gamers. it's great time together, it's a stress reliever. We do make sure that we all have family time together.I don't let it interfere with my family time, that's much more important. In any case, I don't think that you ever get too old to enjoy a little fun on a video game.

This all depends on the maximum resolution of the tv. If it's 720p then the video imput of 1080p will just be scaled back to the 720. In any case you may notice some degredation of the image but nothing that you'll be worried about.

hmmmm. you need to turn the switch on the cable that came with your xbox off of the hdtv setting, if you are hooked up with component cables. This will let you get in and see if the display settings on the xbox got screwed up somehow. If you're hooked up with hdmi then you need to get a set of the xbox component cables and try my first suggestion. If this dosen't work then try using only the yellow(video), red(andio), and white(audio) in the non hd hook up on your tv. Tune your tv to the approproate source and give it a shot. I think you'll be fine. If you get video then you need to check the settings and reference what resolutions your tv can display. Good luck, I think you'll be fine.

I have a copy of this great game but I am sad to say that it locks up online and offline, the shadows look like crap compared to the ps3 verson, and I have been reading on Ubi Soft's own forum page that there are multiple bugs that are in the software that they simply aren't fixing. I think that if you shell out the cash for a piece of software that is buggy when released, that you should expect that the company would release a patch to correct it? Is this happening to anyone else here in the Gamespot forums? I wonder if we could get Gamestop to request someinformation on the problems that users are having with this software? It's obvious that Ubi is ignorning the pleas from it's customers.

does anyone know if there is going to be a patch to fix the crappy shadows on this game? I mean have you read about this on the web? This is the worst looking version of the game. Even the ps3 version is better looking because the shadows don't have that crappy stripped look. What's the deal?

For the most part I agree too. However, with Microsoft admitting that there's a problem with Xbox360 hardware, it may be just the ticket to help PS3 catch back up and pass Microsoft. Nintendo, however, is ruling the roost for this generation. That God for a little innovation in the industry.

Well I own both a 360 and a Wii. Right now there's no comparison as far as graphics go. I feel that as time goes on the graphics the Wii will improve. There's still untapped potential in the little white box. Go Nintendo.
