Digital Foundry stated resolution is dynamic running native 4k with drops to 1800p. FPS is solid 30fps showing obvious headroom. 60fps mode suffers in novigrad and crookback bog. Best console version.
Those PC shots are sharpened to their own detriment. Looks good in a still with a surface that benefits(stone wall). The Xbox One X pictures are smashed and it shows.
This is more indicative of the difference;
[Above: Playstation 4 settings with increased AF, HBAO+, increased Shadow quality, increased Texture quality]
Viewing at a 4k native would reveal blocky edges not smooth, but the difference is negligible compared to Playstation 4 and the PC.
Just spend a few years on SonyGAF and you'll understand the type of people that make Sony games. Well, the site imploded after it was exposed in connection with misogyny, sexual assault, and child porn so that might be difficult at this point. That aside, they really have no concept of what makes a game fun. Everything is srs beans and a tool for enacting social justice. What people are saying is hard to zone in on until you've interacted with them. This isn't limited to Sony. This cult spills over into publishers like Ubi and EA with games like AC and SWBF.
Gameplay is God. Thou shalt have no other Gods before Gameplay. Sony has blasphemed the videogame God, like MS before them did with Kinect. A mutually fallen state does not absolve either.
lol. Just in case you're too young to remember before the PDA became a "smartphone". Back in the day they had a whole category of PCs called UMPCs. OQO was the premiere model. I always wanted one, but too expensive. These go back to 2004.
OQO 2(2007):

Tablet computer: "A tablet computer, commonly shortened to tablet, is a portable PC"
MS Tablet PC: "Microsoft Tablet PC is a term coined by Microsoft for tablet computers conforming to a set of specifications announced in 2001 by Microsoft"
UMPC: "An ultra-mobile PC[1] (ultra-mobile personal computer or UMPC) is a miniature version of a pen computer,"
Laptop: "A laptop, often called a notebook or "notebook computer", is a small, portable personal computer".

Handheld Windows gaming devices range from prohibitively weak(entry-level Windows tablets) to prohibitively expensive(Surface, Razer Edge Pro). GPD Win is probably the only device that strikes a decent balance. However, all these devices suffer from poor control schemes. That's where Nintendo really excelled with the Switch.
A $500 handheld PC with no dumbass keyboard, just a decent controller or even a cheap case that allows unofficial Joy-con mounting would be highly desirable.
PC handheld ?? how would nvidia make a 1080ti into a size of a microchip?? and how would I swap out graphics card, do i use pair of tweezers??. Yah I think we should just leave it to the Nintendo.
I'm sure you're aware, but just in case, Nintendo Switch is powered by a stock Nvidia Tegra X1. It's a current-gen Shield tablet with Nintendo controllers. Literally a turn-key hardware and dev solution from Nvidia.
Windows tablets or GPD Win are the only current option. Razer Edge Pro tab was available at one point, too.
