Couldn't disagree more. Haven't even turned on PS3 or 360 since November 18. Controller is outstanding, feels so solid & screen is gorgeous. Love taking NSMBU & BO2 to bed!!!
That's why I don't pre-order. It's BS. But this article suggests it's only recently become broken, when was it unbroken? I've only ever seen it as a way for M$ to cite "day one sales figures" when pre-orders for Halo have been sold two years before the game hits shelves. Don't get me wrong, that was only an example there's a lot of dirty scumbags out there not trying to single anybody out. And BTW, I always get games on release dates, regardless of pre-order propaganda. Case in point- MW3- pretty much as big as they come... Me and two other buddies lined up for midnight launch, no pre-orders and we all came home with Hardened Edition. So, quit spending money on nothing people- you're burying us all.
Meh, still not going to sell M$ should pack up shop and move out of Japan they are only embarrassing themselves. What the heck are you supposed to do with an HDD-less console anyways?

LOL ya no doubt, you'll always get some fanboys ragging on a console exclusive product, it's also possible that maybe you can't notice as much with a low res old school CRT PC monitor but there is most certainly a difference in visuals. However, compared to console games that we have already seen, let alone software that will hit retail around the same time H3 will it is still unimpressive visually. Take Huxley for example, it will trump H3 in the graphics departement (and yes, it is still to my knowledge planned for a winter release)and has 200 player support, Socom3 running on PS2 hardware could support 32 players and still run in p-scan in widescreen, you're telling me that after this long of a development cycle all Bungie could push out of the 360 hardware only supporting 16 player online are these visuals, man I'd at least expect they don't use the same character model sixteen time over and just coulor swap...... H3 diehard fanboy says " but now you can see your own legs and the final version will look a billion times better than gears H3 roxxxxUhard!!!!1111111" - keep dreaming, if Bungie want's to fully debug and still meet their release date expect this to be pretty much what you're going to see.
I still don't see much of a difference for character models between the two games, between that and the bland regurgitated enviromental textures I would expect MP to have at least 32 player support for a game this hyped- this far into the devellopmental stages. Meh, never liked the franchise anyways, but the positive side is IMO after the first two installments it's hard to get dissapointed when my expectations are as low as they are.
I promised myself I would'nt buy them this time, I'm too old for them now and don't have the time I told myself... Okay, so I bought Pearl and I figured that'd be good enough so I traded with my cuz so we could each have starting three. Now naturally I'm going this weekend to pick up Diamond as well, amazing since Red and Blue after all of these years I'm still so interested. Well done nintendo, now WTF is up with no coulor on my cartridge? Huh? Who was sleeping on that one? I want answers.
As far as rumble is concerned, $ony reps have said basically it's up to the third parties to bring out controllers with this feature built in but third party console controllers generally suck. I want a first party controller with rumble, even if they ditch the whole "SixaxiS" thing, that's what I bought a Wii for. To me, the price isn't unreasonable at all for what you get hardware wise but I want rumble back, also get the Socom franchise up and running- who cares about a pretty remake of a less than adequate last gen shooter (Killzone).
