I really think the series needs to be updated, Ive played most of them and it just feels like ive beaten the game before now. Theres so much that could be improved and changed... But hey, why should they right? Its cheaper to make the same thing over and over, and it still sells like crazy. From a buisness standpoint they have no reason to change anything.

You could say that about everything in a medeval rpg... Elves, orcs, bows, rats, swords, axes, spiders, trees, some sort of elemental creature. All these things are in all medeval rpg's so you must really hate medeval rpgs

I haven't actually heard much of FF music but since so many people like it it hasto be overrated. The other 2 I hear so much praise for but it's really bad. Both have some decent songs here and there but it's 90% crap imo, what do you think?

Seriously thats sig worthy... This right here is the biggest problem ive seen on system wars. Anything thats popular is instantly labeled crap and overated. Did you know the composer for the FF music is highely regarded and has created some of the best soundtracks ever on a game??

Even if by personal taste (like a song could be really good country but it really doesnt matter because I hate country) you dislike it, you still cant say its crap, especially not becasue its popular....

And to answer the thread, no none are overated they all have something to offer that gives it reason to be popular..

Im a huge valve fan but no.. just no.... Id say only portal and team fortress deserve any recognition other than that its just avoiding making hl3 imo. lol

They just want more money, I can understand for companies and games that dont make all the much money but the ones who will start doing this will be the games that already make big money, COD, sports games etc.

I wont mind all the much honestly if the online pass is cheap if its more than 15$ though id never get it. Might as well just be new.

Not that I support it but its funny how companies wonder why people try so hard to pirate/hack their stuff.. I wonder why.. >.>

Actually lots has changed since last gen. More than N64 to ps2. Big changes in online, indie studios are starting to sell like big name AAA's, motion controls, 3D gaming, etc etc.

There are diffent degrees of scripted games. The only time it bothers me is when yu have a boss that could of been awesome to fight, but you end up just pushing a few buttons during the cutscene to defeate it. Technically everythig is scripted though.

Ive been playing it the past few days and I havent had any problems with it. I really dont get what the fuss is about.
Maybe on weaker machines it doesnt run as well or if you dont have an Nvidia GPU ive heard there are some issues.
