@ggregd

I understand this, what I'm saying is why do we let it happen, just like athletes there should be no guaranteed money, especially with a publically traded company, because stock prices mean something to these companies, although like the gov't the board could give a shit less about the stockholders. The only time anyone gives a shit is when the company is on the downturn and the moneygrab begins. But again like our gov't even though technically the stockholders (if a majority owners doesn't own over 51%) is owned by the stockholders and how it should be run, but we don't have a say in how much our politicians get to make how long they should be in office, I wonder why is that? hmm.....it's sickening really the amount of control we had over to people who must likely got the position because of people they know, how many high ranking gov't jobs in Obama's office, and bush's before them got high ranking gov't jobs because they where high lvl campaign contributors.

I don't care what the new guy is earning didn't anyone see the old guy leaving with a 2 year 4.7 million dollar golden parachute? I mean seriously wanna know why games are getting expensive. If anyone in the real world gets fired they get shown the door and that is the last day they get paid, but somehow because you went to school with the other over paid execs, you get a 4.7 million dollar bailout, why do we continue to reward failure in this country and the guy didn't even get fired he quit and they still gave him a golden parachute. Sigh, I feel like I'm one of the last sane people on this f-cking crummy rock.

@GamerOuTLaWz

I typo'ed it, less than 6 hours is what I meant to say, I think it took me 5 1/2 total hours. Still far to short for 60$

@skiggy29 never played killzone only played halo1 because it was a PC product at the time and never played CoD either, haven't gotten around to them yet. Since I didn't name another product that beats this what am I a fanboy of? Myself? Sure I'll go with that. So how is Gear an innovation again? You mean to tell me no game has used smell or sound before Metal gear? hmmm... busting through walls yeah no game has ever used that before. Please don't tell me all you have left is the chainsaw gun, sigh. It's a Fps, the original thing about it, was the duck and cover system, and wasn't very good to begin with. And I'm not even sure if they originated it.

I will agree I'm not a fan of Microsoft, I will never own an xbox, I liken them to EA, but just because I hate them doesn't mean I don't pick up a product from them for under 4.99 from time to time or free and play them, and have been surprised by a few. Deadspace being one of them and rise of nations from microsotf where decent titles. Although Microsoft tends to make better products than EA. Sorry but gears doesn't equal innovation, just some badass dudes killing shit, they appeal to the macho side of guys, while I love games like God of war, I'd rather get my kill (blood lust) on with kratos than the gear and their ass slapping ways.

As far as better series, well MGS, God of war, Metroid, and yes Zelda, bioshock1&2, I would even put the first 3 GTA in that. Fallout's, elderscrolls, STALKER series, NWN1&2, darksiders1, Dialbo 1&2, the first FF 1-4, Cyrsis1 despite the bugs/glitches, that is just what I can come up with off the top of head, half the time I can't even remember all the games I've played, been so many. Also RE1-4

not that darksider 1 had a long ending, but a satisfying ending, one line at the end, is enough to send chills down your spine, thought it was fitting.

After a progression of brilliance from GOW1 to GOW2 I was fooled into paying full price for GOW3 and that is when I stopped paying full price for games. Don't get me wrong GOW3 was an awesome game, but it was less than 4 hours of gameplay, in my book no matter how great the game is, if you are paying 60 dollars for 4 hours you got a-- raped to some degree. So will I get GOW4 damn right I will, will I get it when it comes out and pay 60+ dollars for it, F-CK NO, I'll wait a year or more for this to come under 9.99 before I buy it.

Or if history of micro transactions or expansions are an indicator I'll wait to buy this game when the GOTY edition comes out so I don't have to deal with the massive glitches that is today's games initial releases. Plus not paying for shit that should have come with the F-cking game in the first place.

played the first gears of wars, you know what that one wasn't all that great to begin with, so I would expect 2-4 to be about the same, which means I saved money not buying another crappy Microsoft product. And micro transactions, surprise, a multi-billion dollar company needs to make more of it's users. AH, gasp big shocker.

how is this company still in business, I just don't understand why people don't stand up to corps like this, don't buy their games plain and simple the solution will work itself out.
