this game tells you nothing, lol, basically it's ring two bells, one is up, one is down, and that is about all the help you are going to get.

I just started playing number 1, and if it wasn't for people online, I'm pretty sure no one would have any clue what to do in this game, there is about 1 gazillion builds in this game and no quests, it's basically run around and kill shit, which is the part I like, but zero on helpfulness or at least somewhat of a direction. I'm watching some vids on a walk through, and it's not like I'm not an experienced gamer, it's just this game doesn't explain anything to you. Here's the attack button and go.

So why they get an A for effort, would be beneficial to having some idea about how to build your toon. This is a game where you actually have to many options, never thought I'd say that, but I can't stand games where builds are the thing, I mean people sit around for hours, trying to squeeze the perfect stats with equipment to get that perfect hit, waste of time in my opinion, but to each there own.

And pvp, sigh, yeah not very helpful there either, I'm not pvp god or anything, but I don't even want to attempt it here, I can only imagine, some of these kids who spent the last 5 years perfecting a pvp build, to just one shot me.

@masih_ad_dajjal I jumped on yesterday and to my surprise, the capital city had 99 people on it, so I inquired wtf was going in general chat and why so many people are playing, I had been off the game for about a 1 1/2 months, but apparently with the release of starfighter they've had a resurgence of sort, which is fine I'll say I was wrong on that one, I wrote it with old info over a month old, before that unless is was a Double XP weekend you'd never find more than 10-15 toons on the capital cities. No worries give it a few months when people get bored with it again and they'll be gone again of that I have no doubt, played the game enough over the last 2 years to know that much.

But I'll stick with the rest, as far as OP classes go yes it's stealth and smash, and yes you have different varities to choose from, but coming from major pvp that I used to play, vs. what I came back too, out of the standard 16 man pvp match I average around 12 stealth or smash spec players per match, some match where all jugs or combo of all jugs and all stealth, in pve this matter not, but in pvp this is a huge turn off to any kind of decent pvp, which they still and in my opinion will never get right.

Yes I've played to many MMO to count and yes I played in large and small guilds on several different servers. And even guild have a hard time lasting more than a few months, the ups and downs of the game are extremely painful, one day you in a 500 man 250 account guild, 2 weeks later it's virtually dead, gratned sometimes it takes a month or 2, but it happens so fast, found myself on the last stretch of 3 months, had to jump about 7 different guilds, that died.

And maybe with the resurgence the group finder is popping faster, but on bastion, people where waiting up to 2 hours to get a group and I've had nights where it didn't pop at all. So maybe you have the only busy server, but I constantly checked the other servers and most where also low or standard. Again maybe the last month has changed and now they are high, but I'll guarantee you those number in 2 months or less will be back to the standard or low numbers again.

I really wanted this game to work, but it's WoW with blaster and lightsabers, about the only real unique thing new to me was the crafting with companions, I really enjoyed that aspect, made crafting much easier.

As far as replayablity, sure you had a few different quests on each planet, voice acting, even if good, is still just voice acting, doesn't make the game good or bad, can make it painful to listen too though. Other than a unique story line that follows most of the other story lines in the game on each planet, made for some poor replayability and most of the storylines I did not enjoy, I enjoyed the sith sides story lines much more than the pub side story lines, actually thought all the pub ones where pretty terrible, I had a hard time going to 55 on the smuggler with that horrible story that didn't even fit into the whole scheme of fighting the imps.

But to each there own.

If you want to play a semi-exciting game, with several OP pvp classes, cookie cutter builds, players standing around fleet all day spamming, use jawa in the name of any movie and spam general chat with it for 6 straight hours. And generally people just worried about how their toon looks this game is for you. The initial worlds with f2p are usually busy, and by busy I mean you might see anywhere from 10-40 people on, yeah that doesn't sound like a lot but you will be hitting other worlds with mostly just 2 people on less or hell just yourself on it. If this game claims 2 million active subs, they sure as hell don't play on standard hours North American servers then.

Sure you can have some fun in this game, I've had some good times, but this game would have been better off as a single player game. I have several lv 55's and let me tell ya, there is virtually no replay ability that they say there is, yes the class quests are different but the planets normal quests are not, after you've been through a planet more than once, you basically just want to get the hell off the rock and move to the next one, and if you are doing that then the game isn't all it's cracked up to be. Overland PvP is basically a joke, with some planets not even having intersecting quest lines to generate any kind of PvP. Sure someone posted below they made 130 million last year, have no idea if that is true, but I have no idea how they manage that feat.

I've finally given up on this game, I will never re-visit it, or re-sub again. My recommendation is go through it once and enjoy it, then just toss it aside and find something else. Long-term you will spend a majority of your time trying to find someone to help you with an Flash-point or raid than you will actually play the game.

@spikepigeo @girlshavefuntoo where did you get your stats of 2 million active players, I just unsubbed because no one was every doing anything, very few actual subs, most of the players sit around fleet and spam general chat, sometimes you can't even find a group for hours in group finder and that is for all instances checked. I would guess they have around 10-15k actual active players on the U.S. servers couldn't tell ya about the rest.

I can break down SWTOR for ya, how does my gear look, I really need that speeder, how does my speeder look, I really need that black dye and lightsaber crystal so my character looks uber cool so I can stand around fleet and spam general chat and look cool. I got tired of people worrying more about how their toon looked then actually playing the game.

I take back all the bad things I thought this game would be, vice city what number 4, figured they where just gonna make the same game with a different protagonist, but after a morning show interview of one of the game creators, holy shit they have a lot of stuff in this game, including online version after October, still no PC version, will most likely get this after the PC version come out and it's a little cheaper. Sounds like they put a lot of work into this and I'm glad it's not just the same old, same old.

It's not about the money it's about the quality of product for the money, I wish they had stats for people who bought MMO's and only played the free month (my guess it's a lot), because the MMO sucked balls, having played a lot of them myself and watching the servers open to watching them cut them in half or more by 3rd month. I predicted SWTOR would be F2p in 6 months, granted I missed it by a couple of months, but the point is, until someone makes a MMO worth playing, people are getting screwed out of hard earned money, at least that is the way I look at it.

I've worked hard for my money I deserve a quality product, if you don't feel the same, then throw your money away. I'm hoping ESO is different but just by reading what the game is going to be like and watching vids, it's still a theme park, sure you can attack and block in real time, but that might be the only sandbox element to the game and if it is, this will be f2p in 6 months following SWTOR. The only people that remain in SWTOR are the blind hardcore fans that are in because they like starwars, I love starwars but not going to pay their outrageous F2p fee's for a crappy theme park and I love the ES series but the same here, theme parks are theme parks it's the same shit wrapped in a different skin.

what can you come up with ps4, at least they set you up for crapbox one. Yes I know what I'm saying you idiot, otherwise I would just say crapbox one. Just because I don't have a slang name for ps4 doesn't mean it has a place in MMO's.

where did you see I sided with sony again? I said consoles (plural) I don't favor consoles never have. I will most likely never own a ps4 or crapbox one. As long as it doesn't affect PC gaming I guess I don't really care, but if they starting cater coding for the crappy consoles, they'll lose far more money than not, if you haven't noticed some of the comments, some of the console only gamers have no clue what an MMO is.

Ah, the sad ol'rundown of PC vs. Console, MMO's aren't meant for consoles, I don't know the specs of the new ones coming out, but traditionally the consoles are not powerful enough to run a high end MMO. Maybe that isn't the case with the ps4 and crapbox1.

I am getting tired of buying these MMO's I want to try and find they are crap just like WoW, I like the idea of Dl'ing the game for free and paying the sub doesn't bother me, what does is buying the game for 60 and not liking it, being out 60 for one month vs. just paying a 15 dollar one month trial fee. Companies you would think would embrace this, if you think your product is good no reason to not do this, so why aren't more companies doing this and going f2p, you guessed it there games aren't good, haven't seen a good MMO in over a decade that hasn't been ruined by another MMO or a shitty company (yeah i'm pointing at you EA)
