I remeber waiting at walmart with 6 other guys to buy a 360 on launch night. Half of them were sony fanboys that said the the ps3 was going to blow the 360 away when it dropped. It was going to be superior because it had blu-ray: superior storage capacity has proven to add to the quality of the games..how? Games now don't even max out the capacity of region 9 dvd , nor will they by the end of this console war. Where are the games like Hard Rain and Final Fantasy that all the fan boys were touting at ps3 launch? What good is a gaming console if you have to wait 3 to 4 years for the exclusives that Sony was flashing screenshots of when the PS3 dropped. As far as the specs of the consoles are concerned, if the PS3 is so superior, then why don't the games reflect it? Reminds me of a line from Tommy Boy, " If you want a good steak you can stick your head up a bull's a**, but wouldn't you rather take the butchers word for it"

I guess Gamespot not only rigged the pictures, but also replaced the textures with lower res ones to make the 360 look superior.

I have both systems and can hardly tell any difference. I know on demos that are released on both networks, typically my 360 looks better. Sony exclusives look good i.e. Drake, H. Sword. But I can't say that they are better looking than Gears. Sony is draggin' a** in this console war with few exclusives that justify a 60 dollar price tag. Hey, it' an awesome machine, just not for gaming thus far. Fanboys can say "just wait for Killzone, or MGS4"...we'll see. But anyone who hasn't decided which system to adopt, then the $359 360 is for true gamers who don't want to wait for long delayed exclusives. Besides, anything that is descent at the time is already on t he 360 too, plus Gears 2 and Ninja Gaiden 2 in 2008. I just hope that MGS4 and Killzone live up to the hype, or the fanboys might wet their pants. Of course they might turn out to be another Haze, and suck.
