@Jdzspace: I don't understand how the movie being in a separate universe is worse than it being in the same one? Surely if it's in the same one then you can end up with that Phantom Menace situation where you forever have to go "oh yeah, this badass Sith used to be a dumb little kid" and have it actually directly effect your view of the other films.
At least this way you still have Ghostbusters and Ghostbusters 2 as a separate package and then you can just pretend this doesn't exist if you dislike it.
@quesoraptor: He's not complaining about it being dark, he's complaining about it being overbearing in it's darkness - you can't just have a 2 and a half hour film where everyone is moody and everything is depressing, that's no fun. The Arkham games balance this out by giving you awesome performances and villains that are interesting and fun.
Already a good sign that they're not planning anything too grandiose for the second film, hopefully the studio doesn't interfere and the extra budget can go where it's needed so they don't have to make concessions rather than making it needlessly big.
Seems like it's getting very mixed reviews, plenty of places have given it 9's and higher so I wouldn't worry too much. ZombiU got a shit score here and at IGN and that was one of the best survival horror games I've played in years so at least give the game a try if you had interest in it, don't be silly and let a couple of negative opinions put you off.
The big difference is the free games were the only draw for PS+. Until the PS4 came out it didn't really offer anything else worth paying for. Games for Gold is just something they added to XBL, a service people had happily subscribed to for years, as an extra, it's not a particularly great extra but it's better than nothing.
