@bignick217: For the first time they actually were not taking a loss on XB1 and PS4. Game developers also were able to port to PC with ease without spending more to 3rd party porting companies. X86 gaming has been a huge asset. The only catch? XB1 and PS4 couldn't been unlocked for ripped games, apparently x86 is able to finally lock down consoles...
@beantownsean:What does any of this have to do with RyZen? It's a completely new platform, new motherboard, new setup. It's almost completely rewritten from scratch. It's nothing like the FX chips.
@ArabrockermanX: And you know AMD made the x86-64 right? Actually it's real name is AMD64 and Intel licensed and uses it every single Intel chip. In fact most would argue AMD64 is considerably more valuable than x86_32bit. With that said Intel sued AMD and forced them to settle for a cross license agreement for x86-32bit from Intel and x86-64bit from AMD.. AMD has been pushing the industry forward for years (less we forget who was first to make a dual core). If not for Intel's illegal activities of bribing OEMs and forcing AMD out (Intel was fined billions of dollars by the US, Europe, and Asian trade agencies, plus billions to AMD as a out of court settlement) AMD would have been competitive to this day.
What I'm getting at is don't count AMD out, they have been innovating the industry for decades and they deserve you attention and open mind with this release.
So not only did i have to sit through an ad with no volume control to watch the already released GGG trailer, but i had to sit through the same ad again to watch the actual gamespot video. What happened to this site?
The game could have brought some additional maps in single player. I dont think anyone have recreated a game level experience about certain terrorist captures, this remastered game could have worked something out regarding that before its too late to be captured from existing exposed materials and a bit more for artistic reasons.
@datriax: Yeah, all of the tablets that can play Skyrim and Zelda BotW. BoTW is hardly weak looking. You are also forgetting that you have no clue what the dock is or does yet. The "supplemental computing" patent could point to increased performance when combined with the dock. I'll buy a new Zelda or Metroid or even Mario over the next CoD or (343) Halo game. And you still don't know if the system is based on the Tegra X1 or K1, which the X1 would hardly constitute "weak."
@Mommas_b_o_y: Who games on handhelds? Are you unfamiliar with the huge phone and tablet/3DS market? Are we're not talking about playing Candy Crush here, we're talking about Zelda BotW and other AAA titles which could include Skyrim. This device is genius. Don't like to take it with you? Well luckily they thought of that and let you play BotW on your TV!
