@cboye18: The combat will simply be different. It needs to include various character classes and styles of play, firearms and possibly vehicles this time around (GTA style). I am not expecting, that this game will borrow much from TW3 in terms of combat, if anything at all.
And Dark Souls is not really an open world game (you can't just go wherever you want from the start, you go down a specific path, with several options of which path to take, and that's not even always the case).
Amalur's combat I personally did not like and I don't consider it superior to TW3's (not to mention, that it's much more restrictive than Skyrim or Witcher in terms of where you can go as well). Opinions, opinions...
@Warlord_Irochi: Red Dead Redemption on PS4, XONE, and PC or no dice. This is one of the biggest gems of all time, and it's still only available on last gen consoles (XBOX one backwards compatibility notwithstanding).
That 6/10 for Far Harbor makes much more sense now (different reviewers notwithstanding). The thing that impressed me most was, that it took him 40 hours to complete ALMOST every quest and scour the entire map. That's an expansion worth $18, not a full priced game. Great value.
@Mogan: Yup, in his mind, IGN's is the "correct" opinion, and he would like to see a second opinion that mirrors that one, 6/10 is just not a valid score in his eyes for some reason. I'd say it's right on the money. Maybe 7/10, maybe.
