@cornbredx: You mean if they just butchered Palachniuk's material, and swapped men (and this movie was pretty much about contemporary men and how inadequate they feel and are in comparison to what it used to mean to be a man) for women? That would be interesting to you? That would have to be a completely different movie/book, focusing on the other gender and it's "problems". And Palachniuk wouldn't write it, because if he knew women so intimately as he knows men, he would have most likely written it already. A movie like that would be interesting, but the paralels to "fight club" would have to be drawn AFTER the movie was made and released. Setting out with the intention to write "female fight club" would be a recipe for disaster.
@Beelze333: Level 39 will be just fine. Even if you are 5 levels below the recommended level you still do not suffer penalties for being underleveled. And the DLC will start yielding exp pretty quickly I imagine.
@Dark_Mits: A Steam record for concurrent players is over 12 mln. CONCURRENT PLAYERS. And more than 125 mln registered users. You can toss your doubts out of the window.
@yixingtpot: I really don't. PC/Video gaming has always been a solitary experience for me. Online portions of Dark Souls/Bloodborne/Demon's Souls are perhaps the only examples to the contrary, where I enjoy the multiplayer aspect, but I can still take it or leave it, I enjoy those games immensely even without it. Co-op is also not what I am after.
I much prefer to (and have to, in this case) play a pen and paper RPG game with friends, or a tabletop game of some kind. If there is a story involved in a computer/console game, I want to experience it on my own, at my own pace. Other players would just be a distraction.
@Xristophoros: They guy has said how much they are greateful to the fans, how much the awards mean to them, and how they are a "quality obsessed" company and could have been making more money, should their business model were to change. And he has mentioned, that there are cues of people lining up to buy and take over their company, and have been lining up for a while now, but they value their independence greatly, because they didn't use to have that in the past.
@Xristophoros: This is essentially exactly what Iwinski has said. He wasn't the one who kept bringing Cyberpunk up, Danny was (and Iwinski was changing the topic at that point). And he did say multiple times, that you're going to be able to judge the game for yourself, and that they are hoping that CP2077 will be up to their personal high standards, and that they want to one up themselves with this game.
Get over yourself. They'll only be "empty words" if they don't deliver anyway, you don't get to mock them beforehand, because they have definitely delivered with their last game, your opinion about it notwithstanding (cause the majority of the gaming world disagrees with you).
