I'm sad to see if go, I really wish they would make free DLC where characters from past games both popular and obscure would appear in Sword and Shield, Imagine characters using Dynamax.
@blazingsonic: It is limited to in stadium battling that cannot be performed outside of the stadium, and the result is a restricted part of the game that involves interesting changes for a Pokemon that is non-permanent and will be reduced to a portion of the game as opposed to a change that affects the entire game. It is disappointing to see this being a major feature of the game when it will not encompass the entire game after the story is ultimately finished.
@blazingsonic: My issue is mainly with the wording of the article. But think about it, I have Let's Go Eevee, so am I really expected to also have Let's Go Pikachu in order to be able to Gigantamax Pikachu? It'd be one thing if it was something replaceable like items, but these are unique forms of Pokemon, assuming they're not also obtainable in-game. Preordering is also a commitment. This certainly isn't unique to Nintendo, but they've limited it in the past so it's a shame to see them lean into it more.
@paperwarior17: Dude, more like bonuses for owning the previous game, If you didn't buy it then new or used that's on you, How come other games that gave you bonuses for owning other games from their series don't get complained about, As always if anything Nintendo related does it, it's evil. Plus Meowth is free.

They came for the anime games. You pointed and laugh, The anime gamers left for the Switch and PC. This like the Frog in the pan of water slowly boiling, Older games had DKC 2 flash backs and jumped out and loyal Sony fans remained, The Left got Lara, they tried to take Tifa, and now they want to take Kratos, Meanwhile, Kratos is making himself at home on the Switch and CDPR is standing their ground, Now will anyone believe that the left is attacking geek entertainment or is the SJW still the boogeyman to you?
