@Ravenlore_basic Quick question: Were you this adamant in arguing against the used game market in the last gen? You know when the devs said nothing about it? Or is this gen when game devs and exec started complaining about it? Used games have been around for a long time and now it's a problem? I'm curious to know where you stood last gen.
1) Games discs can also wear out. Ever heard of disc rot? It's not very common in newer games but it has happen to older disc based games. We'll have to see what happens to 360/PS3 discs years from now.
2) Cars can also last a very long time. For example: My father replaced his 1992 Toyota Camery, with a 2010 Toyota Highlander. 18 years is a long time.
3) Most people don't play games over? You got the numbers for that right? Probably not.
In other words, your argument is not very convincing.
I was staring at the screen with my jaw dropped the whole time. Why does this game exist? It's so bad I feel like I have to apologize for Dark Artz Entertainment to everyone who was unfortunate enough to play it.
What an insular statement. According to that statement, I appreciate "artistic games" while at the same time I don't appreciate "artistic games" (I own all three consoles. Where do I fit Mr. Chen?). Furthermore, he didn't even release the game on 360 or Wii to see if users would like it ( It's not like he could anyway because he had a contract of exclusivity with Sony) so he doesn't even have the sales numbers to make a comparison. Finally, even if the games were on all the platforms and Chen's games were to sell more on PSN, his final conclusion would STILL be insular because it was a general statement with no real evidence to back it up.
You wanna toot your own horn because your games sold well on PSN Mr. Chen? By all means go for it. But please, leave the BS out. /rant
