The Yerli brothers grew up in Germany and received so much German education/influence which made them more German than Turkish. It's pretty safe to say there would be no Crytek today if Yerli's family stayed in Turkey.

Actually, the majority of Russia is geographically located in Asia(it actually cover up the entire northern Asia), but the only reason the RUssians claim it's an European country is because of the location of Moscow.
