I couldn't tell you how many hundreds and hundreds of video games I get at flea markets and yard sales. I can't even tell you my most impressive find. It all turns up eventually at those places. Love doing it, I go almost every week during the summer and at times have had a hard time making room in my car for everything I pick up.

The server pop doesn't really bother me to be honest. I work nights so I am pretty well used to playing on unpopulated servers even in my WoW days. Maybe if I had never played WoW the burn out wouldn't have happened so fast but even the most die hard fan boy has to admit that it's extremely similar. Just seems like I went from having a blast to being bored with even the thought of logging in overnight. I'll probably take your advice and give it a month off and see if I feel like going back after that. It's a shame to get that far and gear up just to hit the wall. As for EVE, I read about most of what you are saying on it's Wiki page. On one hand it kind of entices me with the huge sandbox do what you want atmosphere. But on the other hand it seems EXTREMELY hard to get into because of reasons like you say where people who have been playing for years constantly grief new players. And like you and Wiki agree on the devs actually condone and encourage that type of behavior. It has a 14 day free trial so I might just check it out for a few hours. I'm kind of in a gaming rut altogether and don't have much better to do as far as playing. I'm TORd out, playing a little 2k12 baseball on 360 and I have Diablo III, BF3 and GTA IV with the ICEnhancer mod but that is mainly just for eye candy. Beyond those I have about 3,000 games from all generations and I think each and every one make me sick at the moment lol.

I've went from playing everyday to logging in once in the last week.  I haven't cancelled my sub yet but I am considering it.  Everyt time I think about logging in I think "why?".  I grew tired of WoW for the same reasons I am tired of TOR.

I'm at around lvl 70 pvp and working on the War Hero set but I can't really take playing hours of pvp anymore.  I usually do my daily then log anyways.  And now it just seems like a boring idea to begin with.

At my peak playing times there are usually no groups running hard modes so that is out.  I've collected most of the Datacrons I need and while I do have a bounty hunter alt that is kind of fun to play I just don't want to put in the grind to 50 just so I can be bored again.

I've actually downloaded EVE Online but haven't played it yet.  Being a huge Star Wars fan the description I get from EVE is what I personally feel a space oriented game should be.

So I guess for me I need more freedom.  Maybe not a total sandbox but some kind of reason to go back to the planets in the game (which the event gave us but is over now anyways).  I think it would need a better economy and some reasons to want to make more credits.

I guess this turned into kind of a rant but I really can't put my finger on why I can't bring myself to login for the last week or so.  At any rate I do hope they can find some original ideas that make me enjoy this game as much as I did from January through April.

[QUOTE="billyd5301"]Thank you all soo much! As for the ego I do not need anyone to stroke it, it's already big enough. I honestly just want a game to show people the reason I spent what I did on the computer and how much better PC graphics are over consoles. I live in an area where people are fixed on their 360s (and I love mine too) but I want something that blows it out of the water. And truth be told I got AMAZING deals on everything I bought except of course for the gtx670 which amazing deals do not exist on. Thus the Biostar motherboard. I wouldn't have went with Biostar except that it is comparable to $200 mbs and I got it for $55. That all said I've seen Skyrim on PC and I have to say I'm not that impressed with it though I haven't seen mods. Battlefield 3 is pretty meh on both 360 and PC from what I have seen, I have both however it does look a ton better on PC. I played Crysis 2 for about a thousand hours on 360 and I'm not making that one up. I think I am going to get that game because of the good reviews it's getting here. Metro 2033 is supposed to be like $5 on steam this week so that's a no brainer. I'll check into the others too. Thanks a lot for the help!seanmcloughlin

GTA IV modded is a definite one you should look into and you have the hardware to push it. Get the iCEnhancer mod for it. looks like this then

are-these-real-photos-or-gta-iv-screensh

are-these-real-photos-or-gta-iv-screensh

are-these-real-photos-or-gta-iv-screensh

And definitely get mods for Skyrim because it improves the visuals significantly.

That is... insane. Wow...

Omg really... This game is made to run on just about any laptop you can find at Walmart for $300. If you spend $600-$700 on any laptop and it doesn't play this on high you got ripped off. Go to newegg and see which one suits you best and I'm sure for that price you will be running med-high.

I don't get the crying about this. I think it's a pretty cool game but I have no problem at all with the graphics and I have one of the best cards out. I am anything but a Bliz fanboy considering I haven't played WoW in years and didn't even buy SC2. I think the graphics look dark and moody and basically they look fine to me.

Personally I think you would be best suited with a 550ti card. The 1gb or 2gb should do you just fine. I got my 2gb that I ran until I got my current video card off of newegg for about $115 after rebate. Great deal considering I was running Battlefield 3 at a mix between high and ultra with it. Probably the best bang for the buck if you can find a nice deal.

My setup is listed in my profile below. What do you guys think is the most graphic intensive game right now that would really impress people? I am running Battlefield 3 on Ultra at 75-90fps but I know it isn't the best looking game available right now. I was thinking Crysis 2. Do you have to be online to play it like you do with Battlefield? And does it have a demo mode opening like the first one? Thanks.

I'm not sure but for some reason the game Life Force is ringing a bell with me. I used to rent that a lot too though I haven't played it in a very long time. Look that one up too.
