After getting my 360 repaired twice already and now I just got the ring of death today again, I dont plan on paying to get it repaired. I am just going to buy the Elite when it comes out but I was wondering about transfering saves from my old hard drive to the new one. Could I just attach my old hardrive to the Elite, transfer the saves onto a Memory Card and then transfer those saves onto the Elite hard drive?

i heard it will be done through USB i.e the 20GB is on whatever console and it attached to the bottom of the HDD
if you are buying it just to make sure it will work and not break down, dont buy it. wait 1-2 months and they will be putting the 65nm chip in all modelsqoakzmwisjxneud
yea thats true, the only thing i really want that the elite has is the HDD and hopefuly its cheap when its seperate
