@WitIsWisdom: This isn’t true at all. I got my stimulus and others I know got there’s as well. This shouldn’t have anything to do with the VA. The information is from the irs and based on previous tax returns. The only people that got delayed stimulus checks were those without direct deposit information on file. That information is provided when you do your taxes if you elect that option for your refund. Again, that has nothing to do with the VA or being a Vet. I’m sure there were a select few that had that info on file and had issues they had to fix, but it was likely an irs issue and not a VA issue. Also only those that made under a certain amount qualified so if your family/friends made over the threshold they wouldn’t have been entitled to one anyway regardless of your employment.

USNR... 5 years so far and still in. Planning on doing 20 as it's been the best decision I think I've made. Sometimes certain decisions make me want to strangle certain people though, but the good definitely outweighs the bad for me.
I decided to give it a go. 399 with the controllers is not a bad deal. Even if VR fails it's still a very fun gimmick.
@mighty-lu-bu: If AMD hits a homerun like they did with the CPU market I'd be more than willing to switch! I'd definitely wait for reviews though, but I'm willing to spend 5-800 if the performance per dollar is top notch. I'm tired of SLI because of the power requirements and the fact that some developers just flat out do not want to support it.
@mighty-lu-bu: I'm not going to lie I do prefer Nvidia because of poor experiences with prior ATI cards, but just off of my response you can easily tell I haven't had anything but Nvidia for quite some time. That being said if AMD can offer a card that can offer 4k gameplay at 60fps for more titles than the 1080ti then I definitely would consider giving them a shot again. I'd just hate to drop 650-800 on a card and have the successor come out a month later.
Thanks for the replies. I guess I'll just wait until I'm ready to go home unless there are some crazy deals happening in the next couple of months.
I know as with all PC hardware there will always be new and better and generally waiting is kind of pointless, but I'm currently away from my PC and will be until October/November and was wondering if I get a good deal within that time frame if I should take it or should I wait for Nvidias next line up of cards? Does Nvidia usually release cards in that around that time frame? I'm also upgrading from a GTX 970SLI.
This makes no sense at all. The original PS4 and Xbox one should be the consoles mentioned that are holding things back. According to this the Pro is holding development back, but the Xbox one isn't? As a PC gamer I don't really care. I enjoy all my consoles(PS4Pro, Xbox one) and PC as they all have their benefits and negatives. I just really wanted to point out the stupidity in his statement which is clearly a marketing/advertisement for the new Xbox.
