@Xristophoros: Also, a year or two after Scorpio's launch, games will run and look better on it and will look and run worse on the Xbone. Obviously, people wouldn't want to have an inferior experience while having the ability to get a superior one. So eventually, people will start getting Scorpio and Xbone will be a thing of the past.

Its the same situation with 360. When Xbone launched back in 2013, quite a few games also came out for the 360 but they looked and played worse than the Xbone version. Eventually, 360 faded away and it didn't take that long either. The same thing's gonna happen with Xbone. This kind of scenario also applies for PS Neo vs PS4.

Don't worry Patrice. You're not missing a thing. Ubisoft games have gone to the crapper and there's no coming back.

@dexda: Hmm. True that. I mean it's only this E3 as well as the last E3 that we truly got to see some great exclusive games....compared to last gen where a lot of great exclusive games came out in a relatively short span of time and it was worth buying a console. Certainly, there's been lack a of good exclusive games for current gen consoles. But if this E3 is any indication, hopefully they'll now pick up the pace and get more exclusives out the door for current and the next gen consoles.

You will be able to watch the first 30 min to Warner Bros. E3 press conference for free. The rest, you will have to pay via DLC and season pass.

@dexda: And yet Sony and Microsoft spend considerable amount of money to make and release PS Neo and Xbox Scorpio. So clearly, a good portion of the console base do care. I can understand people's frustration who already payed for PS4 / Xbone. These were the supposed "Next Gen" world's most powerful consoles that were supposed to last for a long time. But instead, both consoles were vastly underpowered right out of the gate and things got worse from there.

And now Sony and Microsoft are releasing what is considered the true "Next Gen" consoles. Of course, those of us who wants that true "Next Gen" experience at an affordable price (Instead of having to buy a moderately expensive PC) will have to get PS Neo / Xbox Scorpio, which you can argue is not fair upon the consumers because those who already paid for PS4 / Xbone would now have to pay presumably $350 to $400 dollars again to enjoy games at 1080p / 60 and other features.

You can blame Sony and Microsoft for dropping the ball and releasing these underpowered consoles back in 2013. If they waited a year or two and released PS Neo / Xbox Scorpio a year or two after 2013 and called those consoles PS4 / Xbone, those would be the real "Next Gen" consoles and people wouldn't be complaining. But it is what it is. And to be fair, both PS4 / Xbone had a good run (3-4 years) and that is the typical life cycle of a console (With the exception of PS3 / 360 which lasted for 7-8 years)

All in all, if people wants to enjoy games at 1080p / 60fps for the next 3-5 years at an affordable price without having to dish out a hefty amount for a decent PC, they have PS Neo and Xbox Scorpio which I think is a pretty good deal.

@SavageEvil: Yes PS4 and Xbone will indeed become obsolete. There's a gap in this generation in terms of console hardware power. PS Neo and Xbox Scorpio will fill that gap. Developers will make games for the newer consoles. Games will run better on them. Sure PS4 and Xbone will go alongside with the newer consoles but let's face it. Would you rather play games at 720p / 900p at 15-30 fps or at full 1080p with 60 fps? Cause that's how it's gonna be when the new consoles come out. Gradually as the years go by, more and more games will look better on PS Neo and Xbox Scorpio and they will run worse and worse on PS4 / Xbone rendering those consoles obsolete. Like I said, it'll be a gradual process but it'll happen. Give it 2 years and you'll see the results.

I thing is, when PS Neo comes out, PS4 will become almost obsolete as Neo would be the more capable console running games at better graphics, resolution and FPS. Most people would gravitate towards the Neo leaving PS4 behind. It'll be a gradual shift but it'll happen just like it happened for the last gen consoles.

In a way, its a good thing. Developers will now be able to utilize that extra horsepower of PS Neo and Xbox Scorpio and more innovative and new technical features could be implemented that would otherwise not be possible with the inferior PS4 / Xbone hardware. At the end of the day, consumers stands to gain in the long term by the means of better gaming experience in exchange for a short term investment. Welcome to the real Next Gen consoles.
