@deadpeasant: No, its a reasonable comment. While Assault Horizon's combat wasnt perfect, it had something special and something that could definantly have been approved in maybe a future assault horizon. Why people are worred since Assault Horizon I have no idea. Assault Horizon is a spin-offs. Spin-offs are completely different from the main products in a series, so it should be expected that Assault Horizon would be different.
@mbrogz3000: Why hardware from 3 years ago? The Scorpio will not contain Hardware from 3 years ago but hardware that release just a couple months ago most likely. Also its unrealistic to consider hardware from 3 years ago as 4K has just become the standard, 4K was not the standard 3 years ago. Anyway, I'd assume yes 4K will be pointless on the scorpio 3 years from now. Either the Scorpio is not going to be able to run 4K at 60FPS or its going to be above $1K or by the time it release the hardware might be cheap enough to be 800 dollars. I think its safe to assume just like Xbox One and PS4, they will be throwing a cheap ass CPU on it.
@zothan: Not its not that isnt possible. You can not boost your performance that directly. I'm pretty that definition of optimization is called turning down your graphics settings.
@imisstroika: You a very wrong on the CPU and graphics card. I can still run games on ultra at 60FPS fine with my GTX 780. Also I use an i7-4770K, which against the 7700k there is almost no realworld difference between except for the 7700k having the single core performance advantage. This is same the for my laptops 2nd generation i7.
@SirNormanislost: Thats the customer's fault, not Cloud Imperium's. Buying Early Access titles is an investment and like every other investment, It has risks.
